Brian Eno helped on two songs from souvlaki Sing and here she comes now i beleive . this was realeased well before they met Brian Eno. it was probably this song that made Brian Eno think slowdive would one day be big.

listen to this on a cold and crisp winter's morning, you can feel your brain melting... what's funny is that while there are a few mbv followers that sound decent enough (lilys, fleeting joys, guitar...), there aren't any slowdive followers that i find appealing... they all sound like bland tuneless versions of slowdive...

I don't know about that, if you read the liner notes for the re-release of Souvlaki, there were some harsh words directed at them. I find with Slowdive, it's not as overdone, and the songs almost have a pop appeal to get them in your head.
