  • Whoever built that engine sure done a good job! The railroad is perfect for that engine and might I add, that 5 chime just rocks for 15 inch gauge.

  • They should'nt kept 463 to run wth 3 and #3 needs a break and 463 can take her place during the winter or when 3 needs matenince

  • holy crap!! is that lie an 18 15 inch gauge NG mike!!!!!

  • @CGiordano464 a one of a kind 15 gauge coal fired D&RGW K-27 2-8-2 mikado

  • @Engineer5344 where in the world did you guys get that!? Thats a scratch built loco to huh?

  • @CGiordano464 well considering im not involved with the guys who presently own it. but it was scratch built by a private builder back in the mid to late 60's or 70's i believe.

  • @Engineer5344 wow its just gorgeous. Boy im gonna need some thorttle time haha

  • @Engineer5344 This engine was built by the Strasburg rail road in Strasburg Co. They are buildind a K28 in 15in gauge. Not to sure if it is finished yet.

  • Nice Man.

  • is this railroad still in operation?

  • @nicholasbreeden Yes. the enngine was on loan from the Strasburg railroad in Strasburg Co. The engine is back at Strasburg. they wanted to much to lease the engine. The railroad at Heritage Square in Golden Co has the heaver rail and broader curves The Strasburg rail road has to sharp of curves to run it, so now it sits or run on limted track.

  • awsome video, that whistle fits 463 perfectly. just like one of the real D&RGW locomotives. excellent work
