Ford has been importing and selling the new fiesta in Brazil from Mexico with manual air conditioning and manual gearbox, without fog lights, without ABS and Airbag... Guess how much is the bargain?! USD 28.000,00 It's an absurd! Selling one car in Brazil they make profit of selling three cars in Europe! Disgusting!

@20plus1 I would agree with you. I think ford likes to recycle their name badges. All i can think of is those ugly korean fiestas when I hear that name. Same with the new taurus, which is actually a good name, but they moved it to entry level luxury car from a family sedan so it might be hard to appeal to luxury car buyers. Either way, both the Fiesta and Taurus are outstanding in both appearance and features. In the 90's it was tough to be a ford man, but now it has never been easier.

Love the looks of the hatchback & the saloon. I had read the Mazda2 and the Fiesta are built on the same platform. Yet the Mazda2 looks alot smaller that the Fiesta. Am I seeing things or is my eyes playing tricks on me?

The Euro Fiesta first looked fine then we get a hold of it and glue chrome on it. I don't see that much chrome on the Fiesta's in Brittan.

It might sell very well in Europe but until that grill is change, those chrome fog lamps are taken off, and the 3 door hatch is put in to place than this might not do so well here. I'm American and I don't want a micro sedan or a small five door. I want a three door to compete with my Yaris. I don't need a back seat when my shortest friend if 5'11".

The Euro Fiesta looks so much better.

The American Fiesta looks like it stole the fog lamps from a Fusion. Sorry but Flashy chrome isn't in style anymore. Unless its on the inside then it can be in places like the door locks, Scuffle plates, and radio. but as for the outside. It's too much to look at. Ford really needs to dump the chrome bars for the Aston Martin grill. Europeans have better style than Americans.

I agree with you about the chrome, but you really need to go to Ford's Fiesta website and see what is available before you comment. The SE hatch has black in place of the chrome. That version actually looks better than the Euro car.
