I saw a Red Tail hawk today in the trees in my back yard; I kept hearing this awesome screeching sound. It flew out of the trees and perched for awhile on my neighbors chimney. I don't live in the country but there are lots of rabbits hopping around~or at least there were~I haven't seen to many lately

i've seen crows harssing red tail hawks and also a large NY State White/Red Osprey this summer. i read that crows fear and hate birds of prey like owls and hawks and in a pack get the nerve to harass them and chase them off. they are also jealous of the competition for food. i have video i took of the osprey but it's too jumpy to post. notice also the video in here of a hawk kiliing an adult crow.

Love red-tailed hawks!! Such cool hunters!! I have seen them catch and eat birds and rabbits in my yard and got to watch them close up through the window. Glad I am not a rabbit!!!
