can you put a bigger motor in one of these things? like maybe transplant one from a Honda XR or something? is the two wheel drive driven off of two countershafts or simply two sprockets on one countershaft?

There's a driveshaft running from a gearbox up through the frame, to a flexable coupling in the steering stem, and then to a sprocket down to the front wheel. Its very difficult to explain, these things are full of chains and belts and gearboxes and such. And yet they're actually very simple! =D
