And usually anouncers would say something like:"I do appologise but we are currently experiencing some tecnical difficulties in bringing you the scheduled programme"/ " We are regrettably unable to bring you the scheduled programme as billed" as the LWT crowd would usualy put it. But it does bring back memories how TV channels would sometimes 'break down' back in the day.
I agree, I mean in my view, even though i enjoy it, just delving into old footage is time consumingly nostalgically warped itself let alone recreating the stuff! :S

You could at least get the Thames font right.
I must admit that I find all this stuff staggeringly pointless. Still, if it keeps you happy ...
