*to back Dahon up here*, my grandmother had a dahon still in prime nick not a mark on it running super smooth, I got myself one of these 20" folding bikes, never looked back. I was near thinking of marrying the foldie never leave home without . Saves me lots of money to live in a swish city central apartment & ditch the car for city convenience,
DAHON an excellent well thought out quality bike, modern shocks, get you there with tons of 25 years experience details which you miss at first.
Oops - where is her helmet? Dahon make some good bikes. We prefer Brompton's for small wheel folders and Montague's for full wheel folders. And steer clear of no name chinese folding bikes if you want to be safe.
@ADULTFLASHGAMES that "purse" is called El Bolso bag, it's mexican. I never used it, the wheels get dirty, the bag would get more dirty when handling the bike. It is useful in passenger trains (between cities).
it's cool but i don't think i would feel comfortable carrying a bulky bike bag on the train. especially if it's during rush hours. still a good idea. just not for me.
The clip starts just south of Dublin City Centre, close to Lansdowne Road Stadium, the Gasworks etc..
Geographically, it is all over the place.. and takes a few liberties. The person uses the LUAS, Dublin light tram, and goes out to Dundrum and Sandyford.
that's a really cool bike, but I prefer using my car. It's easier, safer, more comfortable and much faster. This sort of thing only makes sense in huge crowded cities.
brompton >> dahon

Whatever you do don't waste your money on an "Abio" folding bicycle.
Total waste of money.

Dahon is no good. Quality is crappy. Breaks down easily. Bad, uninnovative folding mechanism.

Is her seat set to low? Look how much her knees are still bent when she is pedaling.

she needs to raise the seat higher, i can see shes struggling a little bit

I own and commute on a Dahon. Honestly it looks like she struggles with the weight when carrying the bike.

Fun video demo and just dramatic enough :) The only thing it was missing is a good chase scene!

Have been lusting after one of those for years! You've made my mind up!
Well shot video by the way.

As a Dub I know how fortunate you were to get the weather that day...

If your a dude, you definitely want to carry this bike bare and not in a bag.

Utterly bizarre that this is:
a) the very first folding bike video I have looked at out of everything Youtube has to offer
b) it's in Dublin
c) shot about 30 seconds from my office!

Her sitting position is way to low - that's why it looks so stupid, when she's pedalling and she needs twice as much power.

A great example of bike-transit integration allowing a bike to be used for commuting long distances.
