I just recently came from Mauritania and from driving through many parts of the city noticed the HUGE gap between the rich an poor. You can see a large mansion and then just five minutes away or less see a house made from rags with very very poor people living their. The wealth is certainly not distributed evenly at all. Although I love that country, it made me really sad to see something like that. It was one of the few things I did not like about it.
