I was front row.......right smack in the center in front of eddie for this.........kicked major a $ $ !! love this song. this song always brings me into a "phuck that woman" state of mind. it's beautiful
@ddezso this is the very reason why Eddie would always keep his motivation of each song he wrote to himself. It limits the listener to places where it can take the song and give it it's own meaning. Althoug I know the story behind the triolgy "mini-opera" I've still decided to give it my own meaning. You can make any song your own for personal reasons.
its inevitable that people who dont know shit are allowed talk.
they are the same song notewise but they are two different songs ass. this one was sent to Vedder as an audition for Mookie B...he penned these words...so never fear enjoy both.
oh yes it did--all through getting my 10 club will call tix and the concert starting without me... it was surreal the heat and humidity was abysmal. 2nd time in the gorge...6th seeing them. the last gorge trop in 2005 i stayed in the same podunk hotel. sweet
the Ten club thing was a nightmare, but there was some sort of computer issue that day that screwed the whole thing up. Normally the Ten club is a great way to see a show. Try it again, it s wont be as bad.

@edemvedson That's a strange state of mind to get into over a song about the execution of a guy imprisoned for killing.

This song is much better when it was called Times of Trouble by Temple of the Dog and Chris Cornell!

Saturday's setlist was way better than Sunday's. Usually the 2nd show is the best one, this time they changed it up
