(i did it on emrald, and i used both) go in a trainer battle and use a pokeball etc. you catch the 1st pokemon, the battle is over, and if it isnt in the dex, it will add to the dex and become a shiny, but unfortunately, it also becoomes a bad egg. it will also have poke rus. DO NOT HATCH IT! it will jack up your game.

Bad EGG is obtained y using cheats or "Bad codes" from Action Replay or Game Shark, Bad EGG means "Bad Seed" like someone who does wrong. Also ther are 2 kinds of Bad EGG one that sits there pointlessly and one that deletes info and "Viruses" your game.
