I dislike this ending because logic if flawed as 1 according to you Serge got his body back so why does Lynx still have it? 2 Why in good's name is Lynx acting like a total moron.

Serge didn't get his body back from lynx, he just got a new one. So there are 2 Serges running around.

I believe he got the body of the serge that died in another world. But that is a guess. Another guess is the dragon tear made him one from his memories. or something.

When Serge used the Dragon Tear in Home World, he didn't get his body back from Lynx. Instead, the Dragon Tear gave him a rebirth, granting him a whole new body. If you watched the FMV, you can also see Serge as a baby growing to adulthood again. He was reborn.

when you start a New+ you have to option of beating the lavos/mammon machine at any point during the game. And if you beat it at certain points you get a different ending. I imagine this would be one of them.
