prefer the purity of the original Righteous Brothers original recording...she's a gr8 singer but she shouldn't mess with this particular song..she's too slick sounding and spoils it..just my opinion

I lot of people won't give the show its "props," but if you think about it, Solid Gold has preserved classic performances of great singers, musicians, and performers while they still had their "gifts" in place. Just like the Ed Sullivan Show, Hullabalu, Shindig, American Bandstand, and of course, Soul Train, we will all come to appreciate Solid Gold for its content and its role in the preservation of art.
