  • the sounds were fake without a doubt, plus alot of good looking photo shop shit was added

  • I think I missed my calling

  • The tires were real. Do some research, people. Those stupid comments saying "the tires are fake fake fake" are annoying.

  • The world's most expensive/best paid?

U.S. $200 paid for each live fish weighing 0.3 kg! Translate this art: (fvn.no/okonomi/article907338.ece) This will be paid in Norway for delivery of wrasse-fishes to the salmon farming of fish! These fishes eliminates the need for chemicals and antibiotics in salmon farming, because they eat lice (Gyrodactilus Salaris) directly from the skin of salmon. .

See 2 friends diving among this kind of fish at the Norwegian coast:

    DIVING IN BISHOP HARBOR

  • how did the wheels roll up at 0:28

  • @Worldofturtles111 theres weights in the wheels so when the tires touch, it makes the weights want to move over.

  • 606 takes?! O_O I'd be hella annoyed after the first 20!

  • lol so fake at 0:25

  • @xtapodomanestra The sequence where the tyres roll up slope is NOT fake, its just that there is a weight in each tyre an when the tyre is knocked the weight is displaced and in an attempt to rebalance itself the tyre rolls up the slope

  • Those who insist this is CGI need to look at a high-res copy. YouTube is filled with bad copies of this. Snopes also has a page on this piece. The German film "Der Lauf Der Dinge" (The Way Things Go), which uses similar effects, has more transparent examples of the top-heavy roll used here with internal weights on the tires to make them roll a short distance uphill when knocked off-balance.

  • Witchcraft hapend

  • this-is-absolutely-an-awesome-commercial

  • now that's cool damn shit right there

  • all this for a stupid shit HONDA?? HOW DISAPPOINTING.. AND how on earth can wheels move up against gravity??? fake shit..

  • @drdj69 Who cares what car its for retard. Also, there were weights in the tires on the top, so when they got bumped, the weight pulled it up the ramp. It's real. LOOK IT UP BEFORE YOU SAY STUPID SHIT.

  • @BDBK666

yeah fuck no-one asked for your dumb fuck explanation. piss off..

  • @drdj69 Yep...Doesn't change the fact that it's real, and you're retarded.

  • fake fake fake, the tires at 0:27 they cant go up lmfao i even tried it fake fake

  • @iyipodtouch B4 postin u should read above comments kid

  • @Kzombie01 what are you taking about

  • brilliant! just brilliant!

  • i saw this in school it took 5 years to make the commercial

  • superb one ! !

  • 1:21 if I saw those windshield wipers crawling toward me while I was in bed, I'd shit my pants.

  • woooooooooooooooooooooooooooow thats.. really amazing!!

  • it IS nice coz it doz work!!...awesome!!!

  • it IS nice coz it doz work!!...awesome!!!

  • ya

  • Yes... The tires part doesn't seem very possible.

  • 0:23 -anti gravity? =|

  • @bestisbmw I noticed that part.. I was like O_o

  • It can be done easily if it was graphics

  • It looks just fake and is absolutely boring, regardless of how expensive it might was!!

  • the most expensive commercial is boring

  • fantabulous

    :):)

  • Yes, per the common questions: Yes, this was really built and took many takes. There's a cut in there, so there are two separate, unconnected processes, making resetting easier. The pipe needs the swinging bits to push it further on a flat surface; it keeps rolling on its own after the window lowers because the surface beyond is sloped. And the tires have been weighted at the top; when bumped, they'll turn 180 degrees, the weight making them roll uphill.

  • most creative too

  • 666 likes epic!

  • at 1;14 the window opens and the thing starts rolling again so it proves that its fake

  • wheres the gravitational pole 0:25

  • wait wait wait..at 0.25 whattafffuuuuuucccccckkkkk?????? o.O huge improvment!!!!!

  • I would just hire a hot babe in black lace lingerie to stand still, looking at the lens, point to the new car and say, "Buy this." My fee? $1 million, tops. After paying the girl? $999,000.

  • "Isn't it nice when things just.. Work?" Hahahah!

  • i honestly dun see how this cud reach 6+mil ... a car is involved and sum spare parts...

telling me setting this thing up cost 6million dollars? come on.

  • 6.2 mil to put me to sleep.

  • I do this every time I close my trunk

  • Psht I do this all the time.. On Crazy Machines.. XP

  • half way through i realized it was a waste time... save yours and don't bother watching the rest.

  • No CGI was used in this ad. For those of you asking how the tires go up the plank, they put weights inside of them so they can behave that way. This ad is pure genius.

  • @Paramedicpr835

I really hope your trolling, if you can't see how obvious that the entire video is CGI... then society has no hope. :(

Ok Go - This Too Shall Pass = same thing but not CGI.

  • @YearZer02022 This is not CGI, this was actually built but, as noted, it took many, many retakes. And there is a cut in there, I can't remember where, so there are two separate processes.

  • @JonasClark

Obviously you are blind if you can't see this is CGI, the reflections, coloring, and modeling look absolutely fake and nowhere near realistic.

  • @YearZer02022 Keep in mind that you're seeing a VERY low-res copy. I highly recommend reading the page on Snopes about this commercial, which is called "Cog". Have a look. There is a CGI cut to put the two sequences together at the join, where the muffler is rolling - but also, apparently, the lighting on the car windows was indeed altered, in my opinion probably to remove reflections of the cameras and glare of the light boxes. They cite numerous sources.

  • @YearZer02022 I have seen a high-res copy of this, and if you poke around YouTube there's sure to be one. Search "Honda Cog". Also, the Snopes page mentions "The Way Things Go" (Der Lauf Der Dinge), a German movie done with similar Rube Goldberg-ish stuff, some of it even more creative than this video. That, too, is entirely real, and I have a high-res copy, which are for sale. It's worth seeing for the incredibly bizarre things done, some of which involve fire and chemicals.

  • @JonasClark

I don't care about any other legitimate videos, I have already stated others that are real, (OK GO - This Too Shall Pass), this is CGI and if you disagree then that is irrelevant because you cannot change the facts.

I've seen people make far more realistic 3D modeling than this, which is average at best. They messed up on the soft-shadowing, overly shined the objects while making the textures too bland with little detail.

  • @YearZer02022 We'll just agree to dusagree, if you don't mind. I won't say I'm certain you're wrong - you could be right. I'd like to believe this is real, and they futzed around with it in post-production to make the lighting "right" and got it a bit too shiny.

  • @JonasClark I believe the cut is where the muffler is rolling across the floor actually.

  • @CrimsonKage Yeah, you're right. My mistake.

  • WOSRT ADD EVER SEEN ...............

    BULLSHIT

  • They totally ripped off Tom&Jerry!

  • This is this most interesting thing iv'e ever seen.

  • @blackopsgamer1000 yes I am... and you're gay.

  • FAKE

tires cant go up with such little force

  • @cez4181989 Yah, they can if they have weights in them near the top so that pushing them slightly causes the weight to pass the CG and make them seem to go uphill

  • fake but cool

  • what if... the car didnt start

  • @nickman8559

    xd

  • if you can't see that this is 3D i feel sorry for you.....

  • Common people. Do you really think accord would spend that much for a commercial? 0:25 not real.

  • Well I think that was a waste cause it doesnt even look real.

  • the second tire did not decelerate, but traveled at a constant speed for longer than gravitation would allow. perhaps everything is real, but some assistance was required to make this video

  • who want to watch this long commercial in TV --.-

  • @MrPlayLol Movie theaters

  • @MrPlayLol because its just fun to watch this

  • lol could of just animated it or whatever its called

  • if only an earthquake happened in the middle of filming.

    good luck resetting that.

  • @bpricks As I understand it, it DID have to be reset a number of times (though not the hundreds often claimed) to get it to work right, and it was also for that reason that it is two separate sections, edited together at one point.

  • lol i hope honda got their money's worth. six million for a car commercial is fucked up.

  • Rube Goldberg would have been proud.

  • What a waste, both of a buttload of money and 2:01 of my life.

  • Wow... How much did this cost???

  • Most boring commercial is more like it...

  • no the tires actually go down hill you are seeing the background altered to make you think its going up hill we all at chryslers canada reviewed this a thousand times from a crystal clear copy that came corporate wide,...go see???

  • 3d max. the cheapest.

  • laws of physics have been defied lol. one of the laws of physics states that light cannot be bended and yet it has been lol. so those tires moving up could possible happen?

  • i could do that with dominoes

  • THIIISS was the most expensive advertisement of the world?!?!?!? ..... no......

  • oh cool i thought the law of physics clearly says you cant do this @ 0:25

  • how in the description 90 second were the vid 120 sec?????

  • what the hell and why.

  • what the hell out that for a car commercial i just waisted 2 min of my life and i want them back rite now

  • @elest23 ok you can take back your 2 min coz it will be your last 2 min in this world. enjoy your remaining mins of your life, Good luck.

  • LOL, what a cool commercial! I love those complex machines/procedures!

  • expensive because it is 2 minutes of ad

  • this could be real. The tires at 0:25 is obviously attached to a rope or something like that, the glass at 1:10 obviously doesn't open through the wood, there's a small crack in the wood to allow the glass to go through. Things like this actually allow humans to defy "the laws of physics"

  • This Commercial is awesome but why is it the most expensive ?!!

  • Comment removed

  • @geniusjas87 There's a crack on the wood so the glass could slide down, duh...

  • they sdouldnt have added honda it completly changed my mind haha jkjk

  • The windshield wipers were fucking creepy!!!! And all that to shut a van door!

    :D

  • Ha Just Did That :P

  • the most expensive commercial is by Coca Cola, because they used all these famous soccer players that coast millions. 11 million in total i think?

  • i can bet millions that all of yall commentin on this commercial have no knowledge about mechanical engineering at all ..... sorry for tat but it's true.......lol

  • fake from 0:26 to 0:30

  • @bofohandsome ya its definitely fake, unless they put some sort of magnets on the tyres!

  • makes no sense

  • is it real

  • music should've started in the beginning

  • wow! i just noticed that everything that moved in the video, were all cars parts!!!

  • physicians think different~

  • awesome ad.......... but some parts like the tyre going above the slope and the can rolling looks very much like special effects......

  • thumbs up if your 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000 years old

  • better than peewee's breakfast machine

  • Those were some "realistic" speaker vibrations......

  • I'm not saying this isn't real but I think those tires at 0:25 kind of defy the law of gravitation,,

  • @waarde2 thats what i was thinking

maybe there was a Conveyor belt or something :P

  • @waarde2 I'm kind of doubting it too. The only way I could explain it is the tires bounce some, so with the energy transfer it made it a bit more.....lively i guess would be the word?

  • @waarde2 i think there are weights at the upper side in the tires

  • haha i stopped it at that bit before i continued..it wrecked the whole lot

  • @waarde2

Their not... Search for info about this commercial.

  • @waarde2

    Camera tricks.

  • @waarde2 thank you very much for making that point. my thought exactly

  • @waarde2 They got chuck norris to help

  • @TopazSkillMauler OMG Ofcourse! D: Why didn't I think of that?

  • @waarde2 they defy newtons second law of motion

  • @waarde2 were mounted inside the rim weights that caused the wheels turning "uphill"

  • @waarde2 The tires have a hidden weight inside, that sits at the top at first, perfectly balanced. After the tire got bumped, the weight causes the tire to roll forward and even upwards.

  • @waarde2 its just a render anyways

  • @waarde2: Yeah, I imagine the were pretty badly balanced.

  • @waarde2 defy "the laws of gravity", not 'gravitation'. if you can't even say it correctly, it's hard for me to believe that you understand it.

  • @citadelsz Or maybe I'm Dutch and my English isn't perfect. I'd go with that.

  • @waarde2

The tyres/rims obviously have appropriate weights attached at their apices. When a tyre is touched, the weight "falls" over the hub centre, tipping and driving the tyre forward (uphill) for half a turn. Gravity has not been defied, but taken advantage of. It's clever stuff like this that makes the whole film stand out.

  • @waarde2 Maybe it's an optical effect.

  • @waarde2 isaac newton buddy

  • @waarde2 thats real, the tires was modified, its why this commercial so expensive

  • @necromorphs modified how?

  • @mastela88 use weight thing in tyre (creator make at upside tyre before rolling), so the tyre can roll half of around tyre (40 degree very fosible for do this) with the laws of physics, everything can be posible

  • the best commercial ever!

  • Is there a physics professor who can tell me why @ :29 the second tire rolls up, hits the next tire, rolls back down ans BACK up? Now I doubt Honda would drop this kind of cash on some computer graphics stuff so i don't doubt it's real, i just don't get that one part.

  • why is this so expensive i dont think it should be 6.2 i thought it would be like in the millions or something

  • @badlizard2 yeah it was 6.2 million.

  • 3D Animation

  • this cost 6,2 bilion $ (wikipedia)

  • that's awesome!

  • Ha! Reminds all that "Tom and Jerry" machines! : D

  • Obviously fake. This is a commercial. Not the real life.

Everyone who thinks this is real... certainly got a brain totally fucked up.

  • @nehemiasvids This is not fake. It's not that hard, you just need a lot of time and a lot of paitence. You're the one with the fucked up brain.

  • It's the not the Most Expensive Commercial but it's so funny and complicated..!

  • oh fuck this ad

i saw the whole thing then its a honda ad

    fuck that

i guess honda is good to be used as spare part

    i hate honda

u wasted 2 minutes of my life

    thanks

  • @corvette4554 90 seconds is not two minutes

  • no graphics my ASS!!!

  • After I saw this, I had to go to my I-tunes, play the breakfast machine song and watch it again.

  • I suppose thay did it only one time :))))

  • if the car didn't look like something fell on top of a decent-looking minivan and crushed the commercial would have been significantly better.

  • awe...that was great ! still not buying the car though lol.

  • this commercial is just way too long for anyone to watch. but very entertaining.

  • The fact that so much money was spent makes me dislike this commercial now.

  • awesome =P

  • I can't believe there is so much more to this ad. I used to watch probably half of it. I used to love this ad.

  • no graphics? when did wheels start rolling up hill by themselves then? o.O

  • @Alekpowah its called weight displacement.

  • @InfiniteAppReviews can you explain to me what is weight displacement? :))

  • FAKE AND GAY

  • @TheSoccerUnion how the hell is this fake

  • @TheSoccerUnion why gay????

  • @TheSoccerUnion i love how ppl see sumthing like this which is obviously real and just right "FAKE AND GAY"

  • how the hell was this the most expensive commercial? i mean, you can buy all those shit at a junk shop. except for the car though.

  • @YouPuup :

As far I heard, the commercial had to be filmed in one take for it to look right.

Trouble is, a lot of things can go wrong somewhere in the chain, so it took a lot takes before they got everything right.

A lot of takes = a lot of film + plenty of work hours = a whole lot of money.

  • Cool Storm P device. But how could this be the most expensive advertisement in the world? How could this add up to 6.2 million? Why didnt they just take the time they needed to make it work, and then just filmed it 1 time after they have tested that it work the first time, instead of wasting money filming their mistakes???

  • can a tire really roll up...?

  • whoever made that, im impressed

  • what's the song at the end?

  • @Filogirl4ever Sugarhil gang - Rapper Delight

  • @Filogirl4ever sugarhill gang-rappers delight

  • Cool :)

  • crap .i think

  • WHAT ARE THESE THINGS CALLED
