Brady actually puts up better numbers in domes. His 12-1 regular season dome record in his career, he also edges Manning in Completion %, yards per game, TDs, and QB rating. I used Manning's home splits since he plays every game in a dome and in perfect conditions. His numbers wouldnt be as dominate if he played in the AFC East.

If Manning signed with the Lions in '98 and Brady signed with the Raiders, neither would have SBs but Brady wouldn't even be in the league anymore as a starter. I'm a diehard pats fan but I also understand football enough to say that Manning is a bit better than Brady...at least right now he is. Especially with 2 min or less on the clock at the end of a game. Brady and Manning both can do it but I think Manning is a little better at it. That being said, the pats defense is NOT better than Colts. They are slow and for the past few years they have declined. Colts D is young, fast and has a good pass rush. Forget the big names. They are about equal.
I'm not sure that slow is such a bad thing. The Colts can defend the pass well enough, especially when it gets near the endzone, but we just absolutely CANNOT stop the run. We bend and we bend and we bend all the way down the field. Pats D is much better than the Colts D, and rankings continually show as much. Here is the biggest statistic that shows how bad our D is. The colts average 2 less Offensive drives than the do per game. If Manning had those 2 extra drives think what he could do.

If Peyton simply played the last game to the finish he would still have the record. He only played the first drive against Denver. Then Sorgi came in and threw 2 TDs, the next week they played Denver in the playoffs and Manning threw 4 TDs. Brady has a 14-3 record in the playoffs with 26 TD's and 12 Int's to go with 3 superbowl rings. These are the numbers of a truly great QB when it counts most, in the "playoffs". In the "regular season" he was never as good as Manning until last season when he finally got some good receivers and then he eclipsed Peyton's reg season records. Maybe now Peyton can put up huge numbers in the "preseason" and at least he can claim to be better than Brady at that.

Until Brady wins another SB without any cheating involved, he can't be considered the better QB. They are tied right now. The 2001 SB can be considered legit for Brady, the '03 & '04 not so much. Just like Elway cheated we will find out more once their careers are over. Cassel goes 11-5 with same offense as Brady, but loses to all the playoff teams. NE's D cost them a playoff bid.

The second I say this, everyone will jump on me, but the fact of the matter is that we DO judge quarterbacks by the caliber of team they are on. If we put TB or PM on the raiders, they wouldn't be awful, but they wouldn't have a few SB rings either. By this logic, we can then assume Brady is better. I judge QBs based on watchign them play. QBs don't win games, teams do. Dan Fouts is ten times the QB that McMahon is and Dan Marino is way better than Troy Aikman. If Joe Cool was signed with TB when he started no one would no his name right now. If Manning signed with the Lions in '98 and Brady signed with the Raiders, neither would have SBs but Brady wouldn't even be in the league anymore as a starter. I'm a diehard pats fan but I also understand football enough to say that Manning is a bit better than Brady...at least right now he is. Especially with 2 min or less on the clock at the end of a game. Brady and Manning both can do it but I think Manning is a little better at it. That being said, the pats defense is NOT better than Colts. They are slow and for the past few years they have declined. Colts D is young, fast and has a good pass rush. Forget the big names. They are about equal.

I'm not sure that slow is such a bad thing. The Colts can defend the pass well enough, especially when it gets near the endzone, but we just absolutely CANNOT stop the run. We bend and we bend and we bend all the way down the field. Pats D is much better than the Colts D, and rankings continually show as much. Here is the biggest statistic that shows how bad our D is. The colts average 2 less Offensive drives than the do per game. If Manning had those 2 extra drives think what he could do.

I've seen both Elway and Brady and prefer Elway. If you dont agree with my opinion, that's your problem. Brady would've been out of football withing 4 years playing behind that line Elway played behind in the 80's and early 90's. This argument is old and tired. It's not even a credible one. Rings don't decide which QB is better than another. With that logic, Trent Dilfer is better than Dan Marino...yeah, no. Now, I'm not going to try to say Tom Brady isn't one of the best QB's in the game, but I DO think Peyton is better. I believe Marvin was good, but Wayne is mostly a product of Manning, imo.
Also, the defense. The Patriots, probably, on average get 2-3 more offensive possessions a game than the Colts did back then.

If Peyton simply played the last game to the finish he would still have the record. He only played the first drive against Denver. Then Sorgi came in and threw 2 TDs, the next week they played Denver in the playoffs and Manning threw 4 TDs. Brady really only had that record because of a horrible division and the coach wanting to run up the score in reponse to Spygate. Saying Brady is better than Manning in TDs is like saying Maris is better than Ruth in HRs.

Aside from MVPs, Pro Bowl Apperances, TD connections with a single reciever, 4th quarter comebacks, best yearly QB passer rating, most perfect games, career passer rating, TDs in 14 games, and if Manning continues around 20 TDs and 3000-3500 yrds per season he'll break all the major QB records, and all with 2 less drives a game than everyone else.
Manning threw 49 TDs in 14 games. Brady took an extra 2 games to throw 1 TD, and that was after he had purposely run up the score. Peyton wins.

Brady has a 14-3 record in the playoffs with 26 TD's and 12 Int's to go with 3 superbowl rings. These are the numbers of a truly great QB when it counts most, in the "playoffs". In the "regular season" he was never as good as Manning until last season when he finally got some good receivers and then he eclipsed Peyton's reg season records. Maybe now Peyton can put up huge numbers in the "preseason" and at least he can claim to be better than Brady at that.

lol its funny how stupid people are. Manning had the better QB rating, Brady had almost 100 attempts. Manning average one TD every 10 attempts so if you give manning 100 more thats 59 TDS. And Manning has like 20 other records taht Brady doesnt have.

Manning now has a 7-8 record in the playoffs with 22 TD's and 17 Int's and 1 superbowl ring. During the 4 playoff games the colts won on that superbowl runin 06' Manning threw 3TD's and 7 Int's so you can conclude that the colts carried Peyton to the superbowl. This proves he is an average QB at best when it counts most. But in the reg season he is great.

Um.. Maybe. But this year the colts rushing attack was ranked number 31. Not only that but Running backs take TDs away from Peyton after a deep pass to Wayne or Clark.

Actually what you've just shown is that in the Post season Manning gets more TDs then brady in his losses so unless Brady is choking every game, Id say Manning isn't exactly doing horribly. What it does show is that Brady had something very significant that Manning didn't have as Manning has more TDs and yards then Brady when Manning loses. Hmm, there has to be another part of the game.. Oh ya, the defense. Manning doesn't choke, the D does. They can't make a stop, Manning cant get the ball.

Brady has a better winning percentage and no camera's on the Colts........(lol) and the Pats have a consistanly a good defense but defense doesnt win with two minutes left and your down .......your QB does more comebacks than Manning I know you all hate Brady, and you are biest against your own team but in the end you know Brady 3 rings two superbowl MVPS, and has gone 16-0 even if they lost to the Giants.
