Well Gay pride day and black moth are there because once upon a time it was considered bad to be gay or black. So now a days they are allowed to say that they aren't ashamed of who they are. Heterosexual white people have never been forced by the majority to feel ashamed of themselves for being different. So I believe that While gay people have EARNED their pride day through long suffering and hardships, heterosexual have had it too easy, and don't really need their own day.
I dislike the idea of heterosexual pride day because as I see it it is pretty much just saying, "Yea, we're a majority so we're better." I think Heterosexual pride day should NOT be a 'thing'.
I remember when Heterosexuals were against same sex couples, there are people who still are! Why do we need to celebrate that? I mean ,yeah we are celebrating the fact people are straight, great, yeah, but its like rubbing it in that same sex couples are not as excepted and heterosexual people.
That's my thoughts on the matter and I am staying with it.

I feel like its kind of ironic that there is black, asian, latin, native american, etc history month and not a white history month when people are looking for equality. i know that everyone says: well that is because EVERY month is white history month but i don't really buy that I mean when I was growing up I constantly heard about MLK, Gandhi, civil rights movement, etc. I can name at least 10 non white historic people but other then presidents I can't name many historic white people.

When we're seen in the government's (and society's) eyes as equal, then the parades will stop. We only want fairness, asking for a 'straight pride parade' is straight people being spoiled.

regarding the last superman movie, it wasn't really a reboot, it was a sequel continuing in the spirit of the old superman movies. Hence the campiness of it, and if you watch it with that context in mind it really wasn't that bad of a movie. Granted it wasn't the kind of superman movie people were hungry for at the time but I think I'd rather have a kickass superman trilogy/ reboot now that hollywood has got that old superman nostalgia out of it's system.
