More often than not they're some of the best scenes In all movies, which they should fully produce the "deleted" parts so that they can be selected to be viewed in playback along with the rest normally.
If I was a British officer back then and I captured Benjamin, I would have tortured him to the brink of death, then when he was almost dead I would wait a few hours, do it all over again then kill him in the most painful way imagineable!
If I was a American officer back then and I captured your beloved Tavington, I would have sent him on a ship back to Britain without a single scratch. Then again, I'm not a neanderthal.
@drbackjack Why would you do that? I hated Tavington (And his real life equivalent Tarleton) more than the bloody rebels. The bastards gave the British Empire a bad name. Tarleton deserves to burn in hell.
@drbackjack I shall enjoy this. As a Palaeontology student, general logical pedant and British Military history patriot, I can tear this to pieces;
1. You could not have been an 'American officer back then', because the USA was not formed during the war.
2. He was called Banastr Tarleton, and he not only served with distinction in the war as one of the most successful commanders, but survived it and did return on a ship to Britain where after he became MP for Liverpool. He died rich...
3. Homo neanderthalensis lived between 360,000 and 25,000 years ago, ranging from Gibraltar and Britain, to Iraq and Russia. They had brains that were on average 12-20% larger than Homo sapiens. They were not stupid, just hyper adapted to their specialist lifestyle, which was harsh and physically demanding (rodeo riders have equivalent injuries) They died out not because they were failures - only because they succeeded a little less often
@bleushift that is probably it :) thank you so much! I've been wanting to know that for a REALLY LONG time *if that doesn't sound really weird at all*
They need to play the uncut / extended version on TV, just like they've done with HP and LOTR.
