@1algerial1 Fender strat,....tuned standard, in the studio, but a bit different for the live shows. Probably concert pitch, which is different. The ear hardly picks up on it unless you know what to listen for. This version sounds studio, but billy's vocals are different, hence the difference between studio pitch and concert pitch. A little easier for the band (billy) live to sing. Not much change, but its there, a semi tone.

When I think of the Smashing Pumpkins, I think of Jimmy, D'Arcy, James, and of course Billy. Without all of them, they just aren't the Pumpkins. That group had an amazing sound. Now that it's just Billy, the magic for me anyway seems to have left. Their first three albums are some of my favorite in my collection.
