It's a horrible injustice that Judith (who voiced Anne-Marie in the aforementioned movie) was dealt this hellacious fate of being with such a wacko father. Judith is the victim of both selfish parents. Her Mother was scared that if she went in to hiding with her, then her daughter would no longer be an actress. Neither parents worked and especially the mother, lived-off her daughter's earnings. To me both parents were damaged goods before they arrived in the USA and should never had children because of both of their backgrounds. To die so young even at the age of 10 years old is very sad indeed.

This is the first time I've seen pics of Jozsef Barsi. And it is not a pleasure at all. Sorry, Judith, that you were taken so tragically and mistreated when so many people loved you. RIP, you are no longer in pain. To all - remember Judith and the other abused children in the world, both living and dead. So really its everyones fault for the little girls death-breaks my heart and makes me angry for higher authority to abandoned the situation,the family school teacher-ones close didnt do a damn thing-the mother was all for herself and brought her daughter back into an unstable situation-WHEN someone(especially a child)cries out for help-LISTEN&do something about it!!

Sad and tragic how two people could do this to one child. Rest in Peace Judith. Little Judith didn't stand a chance when her Mother was not willing to go in to protective custody, because of the fear that her daughter would not be a film / TV star. It was that fear which kept her from protecting her daughter. It says in the video.

I never knew this little girl died. I remember seeing her in the Jaws movie. She was so cute doing the little fish face at the table. I remember that from the movie so well. She would actually be my age today. How sad. :o(

Judith is the victim of both selfish parents. Her Mother was scared that if she went in to hiding with her, then her daughter would no longer be an actress. Neither parents worked and especially the mother, lived-off her daughter's earnings. To me both parents were damaged goods before they arrived in the USA and should never had children because of both of their backgrounds. To die so young even at the age of 10 years old is very sad indeed.

Poor little girl! terrible story and it make it more terrible to realise that there may have been so many thousand deaths of innocent children by their relatives. You know the sad thing really is this....Judith Barsi had a terrible childhood and didn't have a dream of her own....Sure, it is nice that she was an incredible actress but in all reality that was her mother's dream...It would have be a joy to see what Judith wanted to really do with her life if she had lived....Regardless, I think there is some joy in her voice roles in Land Before Time and All Dogs Go To Heaven, so I think she is blessed by those who adore and love her.....

@TheTitanrok It may have started as her mother's dream, but Judith did enjoy acting on her own terms. Where it may have gone, how long she would have continued acting had she not been killed, we can never know. Murder took away her choice.
My favourite memory of Judith was as Lindsay in "Trapper John, MD" ("Life, Death, and Dr. Christmas"). She was a sweetheart.

@HMCgirl When multiple child abuse claims are made, and the mother refuses to press charges, it is partially her fault, he could have been helped with his low self esteem and issues and addictions, or worst case scenario sent to jail, and this could have been avoided.
He threatened both of their lives multiple times, I can understand a woman being scared and not wanting to stand up for herself, but not standing up for your child is disgusting, she was absolutely at as much fault as he was.

As much of a sad, depressed asshole Jozef was, the blame lies entirely with Maria. If she hadn't been so selfish and gotten help like she should've, then she and Judith would still be alive. There's nothing more important than the welfare of your child, especially with the issues Judith's family were having earlier.
