@iambeastist Why? You don't leave em be... Or do you think the farmers you pay for food just gently pack up all the animals that eat their crops & send them off to Disney films? Every time you buy food, you pay for people to kill crows, and thousands of other animals. Vegan, vegetarian, raw foodist, or whatever your prediliction, you pay people to kill crows for you.
@iambeastist I wouldn't eat a crow. They are carrion feeders. Disgusting. But if you have dogs or cats, they'd be happy as clams to eat them. Otherwise, dig a hole and compost them, or leave them out for the vultures, or bait for other crows.
@iambeastist And apologies, I get a lot of animal rights whackos and cultists with weird world views attacking me, and other hunters, all the time over things like killing english sparrows, pigs and other invasive species, as well as pesting, and hunting sustainable animals like dove, squirrel, rabbit. So I slap them in the face with the reality of farms... Farms kill the animals that eat their crops, so being a vegetarian hardly absolves you of animal deaths... etc.
@iambeastist Yep, farmer was done harvesting. If harvest is in progress, we gotta pick 'em up or you will get a crow head in your next bag of peanuts.
awesome shooting guys, I have never been this successful before you guys really rocked em.... I can't believe the hawk just landed in the middle of the field.
@notagrd If you can only set up for 15minutes and then have to move theres not a lot of crows in the area you're hunting, or you're "Running and Gunning". This is a feeding set up these guys are using now. And the reason for the birds to come back after they shoot at them is because they're young/un-educated birds.
I liked it but I live in Calgary Alberta is shooting crows illegal to shoot them if I don't have a license but there annoying me? What if my back round is safe? I'm a kid and I wanna shoot something with my BB gun! :D
Pretty good shooting gotta hate it when the birds fall in the hide when there shot had a bad one of them yesterday with a low flying woodpigeion literally flew into the hide 2cms above my head after it was shot
Absolutely cracking shooting and film. Well done Guys. We are shooting over drilled barley at the moment, but not seeing action of this calibre. When did you film this? Really enjoyed it! Thanks.
Best crow shooting video on you tube. Best thing is to always face the direction they are coming. That was a red tailed hawk. Hawks and turkey vultures often come to crow decoys. The commentary is comical.

@LandanL Google "Crow Busters". Jerry Tomlin over in Milledgeville, Ga. He has got all the stuff. Thanks for the compliment on the video. I filmed, and my oldest son edited it in about 20 minutes. That was a fun day, they got 150 w/ two shooters.

'm trying to plan a kill on this one crow that tries to attack me every morning that I go jogging.
Every time I pass these trees that the crow hangs out in, it swoops down right by me for a bout a block, until I'm clear out of the trees.
Can you recommend a safe gun that I could kill it with?
I probably will drive to the location, get out and run up the block, then when the crow comes out, I'll open my car and get the gun.
Hopefully no one will be around but it will be early in the morning.

@jgq85 Any 12 ga shotgun using #6 shot.Shoot, run like hell!
williepsdad 1 year ago
@williepsdad
This would be on the street where I jog and there are cars that drive by.
The trees where this crow lives is right beside an apartment complex as well.
I'm wondering if there's a air gun pistol light enough that I could jog with, kill the crow, then keep running.
jgq85 1 year ago
@jgq85 Then try a good quality .22 air rifle and do a drive-by on him. Let me know what your budget is, and I will make a recommendation.
