Ballon D'or award? surely this is some joke. Xavi is by far the most overrated player i know, I'd give it to someone who actually deserves it. 5ft backward passes may get you somewhere in barcelona, but he'd get slaughtered elsewhere. I guarantee you can get a CM from another club and put him on Barcelona and you'll see the same results if not better. He's a fine example of what happens when a mediocre player is surrounded by truly world class footballers.

He makes at least 5 perfect through balls per game and assists at least one per game. And it's not only the passing but also his movement that makes him so great.
