The largest runways at MDW are 4R/22L 6,446 feet and 13C/31C at 6,522 feet. The largest aircraft allowed into MDW is the 757-300 which ATA used to fly into the airport. An airbus A-310 is wide body aircraft which wouldn't be allowed to operate at MDW. =)
it's interesting that UPS (who i fly for) don't allow us to even devert there when we needed to. Giving us excuse that runways were too short to accept us even as emergency... hmm something doesnt fit. then again ARF is a massive fuel tank essentially.. and wider than a normal 75
Last I cheked 757 doesnt arrive to MDW, 5000ft short runways arent enough to accept it, perhaps an airbus 310
