Cows and chickens are not anywhere close to Endangered. Whales are having a hard time reproducing, and the mercury humans are polluting the oceans with is not helping. The japanese are going out and hunting Whales on an industrial level in the Sanctuary where they breed. They're not replenishing the ranks after hunting and killing them! Therefore, they have no right to kill even ONE! It's proven that Whales are already struggling to survive. Why add to the problem by cutting their numbers?

This is not the way to stop whaling. Sea Shepherd has a bad track record of illegal activities such as sinking ships and endangering lives. I live in country with long history of whaling, where a relatively small number of whales are hunted each year in a sustainable way. SS have done nothing constructive to help the whales. They seem as a group of people looking for adventure & action. Those looking for organizations that actually do any good should look further, and take in all the facts.
