@drewmightplaypiano You transcribe by vision? :o That's cool Drew, but you should work on transcribing without looking at ALL. For example, Drod would be hearing all these notes in his head while listening to it. He's done a lot of practice.
man this just made me cry but with a grin on my face. idek. thank you so much for all your hard work and for sharing this. your friend must have felt so loved.
Do you use every time the same grand piano sound in all of your videos or do you change it sometimes? If yes, what is that sound and tell me a example for the other sound. Cheers
When you hit so strong the piano makes me watch and listen to you more and more, please keep making these amazing songs that all of us love. Keep writing and playing piano. You will be one of the best pianist ever, you have a great future in front of you, take advantage of it. I wish you luck. I love you, we all do.
I just bought the p155 today! But I got a question: what kind of reverb do you use here? Room 1,2 Hall or stage and how high is the reverb? You use normal or mellow piano and just grand 1 right?
I have never asked for thumbs up, but this time is an exception. Thumbs up if you would like him to play the theme song from the movie UP, so he can see this comment. It would be epic!
This is just amazing... how can you write something like this? This is a god damn master piece... The build up for the ending (3:52 - 4:26) is pure gold and the ending is just perfect...
This is a beautiful peace youhave created andI'm very sure your best friend is honored to have such a dedicatedand loyal friend for a pianist.A true work of art, sir. It's very inspiring for m as an upcoming pianist.I'm being taught by my mentor and one of his request was for me to find inspiration within other's soul in music.Yours is very pure and just unreachable.I found my inspiration in your music. Please keep up this magnitude of celestial grace.I along with many others thank you.
I can't believe how good you are! I just started writing music and I write lyrics too (of course, I'm not NEARLY as talented as you!) I've only been playing for a year.
@AveryLambert Well i have an easy answer for you buddy. He records using outputs ( record button on piano ) while its plugged up into his microphone port on his camera so he can record and do audio. Then he syncs them so what your actually hearing is what the piano sounds like in headphones basically. The onboard speakers are terrible on any digital piano lol
um...I have a request heavenily fingers umm would you kindly consider maybe doing all I ever wanted from the prince of egypt soundtrack? I think you would make it sound even more beautiful since like all you ever do is make things sound a thousand times better like no lie lol anyways your stuff is amazing:)
wow the last part... i went like wow so peaceful, it's like the notes are playing in my ears and then the next i went... nose bleed, the feelings are so strong with the notes!
this gives me a lot of emotions, very goo music ^^
Haha:D Saw your body wanting to throw in a final chord in there. What stopped you???
It dont mean alot coming from me, but.. great job:) I enjoyed it alot:D
I like that it wasnt repeative like... Lets say Yiruma... Im not saying Yiruma's music isnt pretty... But its very repeative isnt it?:) (yeah it is, im being retorical:D) I like to think on that as "nagging music", but i dont think its bad music..
Making it like you've made it makes it more exciting and enjoyebal for me:)!
Aw man, that was amazing. Kyle, you've come a long way since I first started listening to you (as if you weren't great then too). Keep up the great work and keep composing. I wish you every success!
Kyle! This may sound stupid to you or others, but is it too late to start piano at 15? I mean i know i'm still a kid/teen, but i'm a little discouraged by all the people around me who have started early in their childhoods. I love piano so much and i want to be able to play as well as you..but i don't seem to have much time now either. Do you recommend that i actually do lessons or that i teach myself? By the way, long time fan of your music!
@Slowfreaky I started at a age of 14 and I'm now 16. I took 7 months of lessons but it became all way too easy for me so I stopped. Now I learn all of Kyles songs from sheet, by ear anything he plays. It's never too late to start!
Hey don't let it discourage you. I started around your age and I taught myself. Sure I'll never be as good as Kyle, but I'm happy with what I've achieved. If you have enough dedication, even at 15 you'll be able to go a long way. Definitely get lessons if you have access to a good teacher.
@Slowfreaky Definitely not, sure there are some things that you pick up faster the younger you are, but as long as you are dedicated, it will work out great, I guarantee. I'd recommend taking lessons though, especially in the beginning, as incorrect techniques are sometimes very hard to unlearn, and with myself I noticed that while taking lessons, progress is just a lot faster.
Reminds me of the good times I had with my best friend, we were best friends. We got into a bicker and we are now walking our separate ways, tried to patch it up, but failed. Thanks for letting me reminiscent about our happy times together, the Drug called Music, tears of ambivalence.
i think this one is one of your bests.... i've heard lots of them dunno but... maybe all of them and i reaaaally love this one .... listening to you is just an inspiration to me thanks dude you're amazing
Kyle, I really believe this is your best composition to date. I haven't heard anything like this, it's brilliant and absolutely stunning. I hope that you continue to do your best and keep playing such beautiful pieces and inspire us with your art. Thank you for your amazing work and music.
Hi Kyle, if you were living in my country, i would without a doubt want to hire you as my piano teacher. Ur composition are truly awesome! Though its compose using classical method and have its roots in classical, it sounded really nice with those unique chords that are neither absolute major nor minor. Thanks for posting it to the world to view ur beautiful music!
@ZuritaDeLaCruz I started piano almost a year ago, and I'm 16. I played clarinet and flute when I was in 6-8th grade. Have you played any other instruments? And, it's never, ever too late to start. As long as you are motivated and believe in your abilites, you can get very good, relatively quickly.
I've been following you for years, and i must say this is by far the most granduer piece I've heard. It really hits home and sounds amazing. Please keep it up!
I absolutely cannot wait for you to start getting contracts of some sort for anything, whatever media might decide to pick you up, I'm probably going to watch it, love your music and style. you keep the music "simple" instead of trying to outdo everything in the world ever, and just play what is good to you
U rly should play ballade no 1 by chopin, I dunno why but i think this piece would fit you perfectly. And i rly want to see your rendition of the fast part at the end! The most incredible one i saw was horowitz's , can't wait to see yours.
If there was one person in the entire world that I could meet and befriend, who would it be? No, not President Obama, not Lady Gaga, and definitely not Justin Bieber. That one person would be, without a doubt, Kyle Landry.
Great as always----I was wondering, how do you come up with names for your pieces? I feel like a good name is hard to come by--one that actually fits the music
Wow, I really love your music and this piece has been by far the most beautiful and simply put magical! One could see how much emotion you put in your music.
I'm just curious about the end (4.55-...)
What do you think about it? I just loved all of it so much and the end somehow didn't fit for me, it just felt like it doesn't belong there, it lead to something else...
PS: I'm just curious because I really admire your music and the end really bothered me.
Kyle, I have no idea what kind of school your going to but with playing like this, you should be going to the Juilliard school of music. Thumbs up for originality and creativity for sure.
I absolutely love how you've begun to show more than just your hands. Although it is amazing to watch your fingers move, I really enjoy seeing you dance and express what you're playing. You really love what you do!
Kyle, I've been watching you play since 08, your style has changed a lot.. I just wanted to tell you, before I listened to your music I put my piano to the side.. But after listening to your inspiring playing, I've bought a white baby grand, and started playing.. I am now more in love with music than I've ever been.. Going from not remembering a single note, to being able to play pieces like a pro, would have never happened if it weren't for you. Thanks Kyle! Best wishes - Adam.
@drewmightplaypiano I think if you put your vision skills and listened to this piece you would be able to transcribe it :)
