Writing is suburb, gameplay is entertaining & fun, story is immersive deep and interesting never slowing up or standing idle. It sucks the movie only grabbed the name Max Payne, his wife and daughter, and the drug and then made up everything else. But this truly is a fantastic game, would love to see the original re-birthed in a way

Max Payne was a lot harder than the sequel. You had to rely a lot more on shoot dodging(on Dead on Arrival Difficulty) or you would die a lot faster. Grenade blast radius was so large that even if you were 30 feet away from it, it will still hurt you. I died so many times when I played this.

There were many points in the game where he was at full damage (the bottom left meter all red) and took more damage and didn't die. There was also the frequent quick saves. Then again, this isn't a speed run. It's a walkthrough and it doesn't matter if he cheated or not, it's great anyways.

Time for another one of Axel's Walkthrough/game review. Max Payne seems like a great game with lots of action. Some parts seem a little too difficult when they shouldn't be. Seems like you get hurt a little too easily too. 8/10 seems like a good one for this game. The walkthrough is fantastic. Baruttv does a great job of helping us get through what we need. He seems a little reckless at times, but thats just me. 10/10 once again for you Baruttv, keep them coming.

Thankfully, Max is invincible while shootdodging. On the roof where you have to stop the chopper, I had no health left, took TWO M79 rounds to the face, and 1 sniper bullet. Not dead.
