No offense, dude, but this is easily the worst, least descriptive installation video I've ever seen, And besides it being bad as it is, why are you using THAT fan? Why don't you mod it in true fashion, and buy some 60mm case fans. Not only are they a lot cheaper, but the wiring would also look infinitely cleaner, which is important if you want to cut holes and what not in your case. I don't speak for everyone, this is simply my opinion, but really, work on your descriptiveness.

question. im considering putting this in a 360 that i just fixed the rrod on. the cpu seems to be very hot so i put a large outside fan right over it with the 360 case not on it will it keep the xbox cooler than the original fans not just by a little bit?

@cujjer i had a 22 inch fan sitting next to my 360 and it got rrod again. if you dont have 40 bucks to buy this fan with all the wires set up you can just do it yourself. Just search 12v fan mod.

but you are taking out hot air almost twice as fast so it is worth, and the extra power isnt taken off the cpu or gpu so the part that overheats isnt really getting hotter

if youre going for performance then max is gonna be better due to the 12v, but if you just want a fan with lights on it, then the regular one should suit you fine

Oh and by the way, that nitro switch is a pain! I found that when I installed it like in the diagram, it was very tight! Also, after putting the case together, the switch is still covered by the plastic case. :( Oh well. Thankyou again!

no problem, and if its not too late, you can actually take some pliers and pinch off a small piece of the metal and maybe even some plastic on the case so the switch fits a little better.

We are not quite sure if you can purchase the switch individually because we purchased the whisper max fan which included the switch and adapters. You may be able to find an online source that would supply the switch but i am not sure.
