iPhone is actually a pretty average phone. Steve Job just 'emphasizes' on the phone, in the end it's quite average. The new HTC phones (Desire, Legend, Wildfire, HD2) are actually the high class phones. I mean it's good for people who enjoy music, games, and also lifestyle and business. The iPhone is mainly just everyday use (lifestyle) and gaming. What i would recommend is the HTC Desire or HD2 over the iphone, just my opinion, don't shoot me :)

Its a compact and snappy phone but the camera without autofocus is extremely dissappointing.. I'd suggest the hero or motorola dext... Oh and the touch screen is resistive rather than capacitive... typing without stylus is pretty tedious as the touch keys r small. also it has no landscape mode

@anthraksg yeah that was a pretty stupid comment. but the htc touch was crap for using fingers, it only reacted to the damn stylus. i had a bad experience with that phone so i just needed to be sure. and it just seemed like the screen was a tad resistive in the video.

This phone is meat to be the best touch at the moment. Nokia phones have always been expenisive, especially the new ones. I don't think this has any lower qualities at all.

its simply because the nokia 5800 appealed to pretty much everyone whereas this wouldnt. the 5800 was a music focussed touch screen phone by nokia - nothing else is the same so shops new people would pay the extra because of

1) Its nokias first touch screen

2) its like the first ever music + touch phone

3) Nokia have established themselves and been making good phones for ages

Hum, I see... I liked the i900, acctually! 2 days ago I was at a phone's store and I touch on the htc touch 2... It's a bit small and it needs pratice to can write mensages well. I don't like the Touch2 for more than 2 reasons:

1. no pinches (maybe Apple patented that)

2. no letter keyboard (i didnt see it being show)

3. no marketplace apps

4. no external speaker or microphone. (wanted to be able to do something like voice command)

What I like about the Touch2:

1. Tethering (did he says u can use this as internet on your laptop?)

2. touch flow

3. SD slot

Of course these likes and dislikes are based on this video. Someone should clarify me.

Ok some answers to you dislikes:

1. It should have a letter keyboard, all HTC phones I've seen and used have it, but he may not have activated it on the phone.

2. Marketplace is not active yet but it is included in the new windows mobile 6.5

If you like the phone that's always personal.

It is so lovely, I am fan of WM, you can do anything with it like my PC but I will wait for HTC TOUCH HD2 that is my phone with Manila 2.5 and 1GHz CPU

Very nice video. I am considering if I should buy the HTC touch 2, or the (Android) HTC Tattoo. It will probably be the Touch 2 because of the possibity of direct email sync to PC using MS Activesync. For office tasks the Windows Mobile phones are still far ahead Android.

I feel that Windows Mobile is becoming the new underdog. With iPhone OS and Android being so strong Windows Mobile is slow, clunky and ugly. I loved my WINMO devices until iPhone and Android came out. WINMO reminds me of Windows 95. It's just out of date. They also seem to be slow since smart phones are lacking on better processors.

i agree with you for the most part but and android is just gettin alot of publicity, i reallyy see alot of potential at the curent moment in webos and iphoneos... win mo has to change alot for it to get widespread acceptance and Winmo7 might just be 2 late, android, iphoneos, webos, and rim might just be 2 far ahead by end of 2010... i like microsoft for windows 7 and 360 but with mobile phones i cannot stand win mob, hopefully they will change my mind
