  • Beautifuly done! Enjoyed your video so much. Thanks for sharing.

  • @rockingzmom thank you

  • good job!!!!

  • Very nice video, also nice camera work !

  • @Wizzard005 thank you

  • @wayalife ,

Can i ask you a question, how did you go about getting music for your video without having youtube hassle you about it? How are you able to tell what was ok to use / vs just using whatever you pick and hope its ok? I ran into that problem and had to change the music to something else. I would like to find a better way of doing it. Also did you make your video with Final Cut? It came out good!

  • @Wizzard005 we use premier and really, you just need to stay away from anything that's produced by wmg

  • @wayalife ,

last question, how do you tell if its produced by wmg? is there a website you can cross reference a song?

  • @wayalife it isn't easy and we don't always get it right

  • Great video!!

  • @albertrek thank you

  • Wow, what an awesome channel. Shout out to CINDY for some hardcore editing on this -- looks great.

  • @cbrusharmy thank you :)

  • Must be nice to be rich.

  • @NickDanger360 LOL!! it's called working hard and saving up

  • @wayalife You said it man. What do you do for work? Because on a cops pay its hard to save up much. haha

  • You guys are amazing with your on-trail repairs! I would die to have a skill like that! Did you swap out the ring & pinion and install a locker? Thanks for the incredible videos! You inspire me so much! Just got my Jeep lifted yesterday and installed 35's! :D

  • @Goku87306 LOL!! nah, just pulled the ring gear so that we could get our jeep rolling again. ran the rest of the trail in front wheel drive.

  • best jeep videos on youtube, great rigs and awesome taste in music! all of your videos are put together very well and i love the narrations! makes me wish i had a jeep! keep em comin!

  • @KiingAbdul thank you, we're so glad that you like our videos :)

  • How much did 1 of these rig cost (JK+ Mods)?

  • @EVOKIN hard to say for sure as we've gone through many stages over the last 5 years. as it, you might be looking at $30k in upgrades. we've done a lot more work on them since then too.

  • @wayalife Wow, (60K+) I guess I'll keep my XJ for now. Lol

Great job on the video and nice looking rig you guys have.

  • Another awesome video. The trail fix is inspiring and terrifying at the same time!!! (Im not as mechanically inclined as you guys). I was wondering why I dont see ads on your vids? You'd make a decent buck from Google adsense with your video traffic.

  • great videos! i like how prepaired you guys for any possible problem but in this video i feel like their is something missing like... a rape wistle, this trail did a number to your jeep. another thing i like is that even with everything that happens you all do what you can to help each other and all stick together and pull threw in the end. can't wait to see your next adventure

  • @MitchMAH LOL!! we're so glad that you enjoyed our video. more are definitely on their way ;)

  • @wayalife nope! Idk what I'm talking about! Just trying to figure out what to unpin on the trails!

  • @unwrappedbox ah. in spite of what some will try to suggest, you want to keep your rears connected. the rear sway bar is so soft anyway that it WILL NOT limit your flex. it will however provide stability.

  • did you take off the rear sway bars?

  • @unwrappedbox ummm, no. does it look like they're missing?

  • Great Video!!!

  • @backintack thank you

  • QUESTION: How exactly did you perform the trail fix after you broke your ring and pinion? Did you simply remove the ring gear and leave the pinion in tact? I've got some G2 5.13's that I'm considering tackling the job myself but I keep wondering, did you bring an extra ring and pinion with you on the trail? Thanks in advance for any input

  • @mrhupen we just pulled the ring gear so that it wouldn't bind. we drove the last 10 miles of the train in front wheel drive only and actually the rest of the 250 miles home like that too.

  • so im pretty sure i have watched every one of your videos there the best thing on the net. anyway i live in so cal myself and have a 2000 sport im putting a 4in currie lift on it with 33s in a few weeks and i was just wondering if you could recommend some amazing trails in california that are not to crazy im still new to jeepin so i dont really want to go crazy yet and dont have the money to break things haha. anyway i love the trails threw the forests with the lake views etc hope u can help :)

  • @lvscrs for what you're looking for, most anything in big bear ought to give you what you're looking for.

  • @wayalife awesome im not afraid to have a good long drive and camp as well to find a good trail. do you guys let tjs come with you on any of your trips. i would love to join you sometime.

  • @lvscrs anyone who's willing to join us is welcome to come so long as they meet minimal requirements for the trail in questions.

  • Hello there Wayalife

My name is Jacob And I live in florida.

I sit here on the Computer watching all your lovely Video's Absolutely Love them.

You Do a awesome Job in editing them.

I am born and raised as a Jeep Kid

I own a 4 banger Jeep Comanche that was in a T-bone accident a kid my age ran a stop sign.

But One day when I have some money I want to come on an adventure with yall.

    Please keep the video's coming.

  • Hey, Phimosis from the JK Forum here. Mad props on the video! I was looking for a trail to go snow-wheeling and I ran into this video. This is just awesome, awesome, awesome! Many Kudos to your articles on JK forum too. I've been wanting to come to your meet-and-greets, but I live up in Bakersfield and I can't make it down on a weeknight because of work. I really need to come do a trail with you guys. This is truely inspirational!

  • @ldmcnutt wow, thank you. hopefully you'll be able to join us on a run sometime soon.

  • hey man love the the vids so jealous of all your jeeps i have wached all your vids. 2003 jeep wrangler x, 2.5in old man emu lift 1in coil spacer, 32.11 km2, mickey thompson sidbiters.

  • Very jealous! Both jeeps are as sexy as jeeps can get! Love the vid!

  • got a question for anybody that would like to answer it when ur running 35 inch tires what should the tire pressure be on regular highway?

  • @chitobueno1 depends on the tire and what size wheel it's mounted to. typically, i like to run 35's at about 30 psi or whatever will give me a flat foot print. too much air will cause the tread to bulge in the center and cause bad tire wear.

  • 10:20 - 11:45 = BAMFs

Do'n what most people can't do in their garage at 10,000 feet and no power lines for as far as you can see!

  • great video!! good job on the editing

  • @radean84 thank you

  • you guys are awsome i have to say i cant wait till i can go on a run next summer with a group of friends

  • That looks like a really fun trail. I also love the commentary about wheeling through a sea of trees. Pretty big Jeeps to be squeezing through tight trees.

  • this would have been alot easier if they'd just air down.

  • @kaffien LOL!! yeah, clearly we don't have a clue as to what we're doing and should have gone lower than 8 psi just so that our e-range toyo's would 'look' more aired down for experts like you watching our videos - thanks for the tip :)

  • @wayalife @wayalife I wasn't trying to be rude. Nor do i claim to be an expert.

Nor did I mean to claim you didn't know anything.

You changed your ring n pinion on the trail and were prepared to do so.

That showed know how and preparedness. I also liked some of the clean up

gear used as to avoid spilling fluids on the trails.

I just thought it was odd that the tires didn't appear to grab or form to the nasty rocks much.

  • @kaffien if you've ever run a toyo mt or nitto mud grappler, you would know that the sidewalls are about as thick as they come. the benefits of this is that they are tough as nails and to this day, i have never suffered a tire failure due to sidewall damage. by virtue of being so thick, they tend not to look aired down like a thin walled bfg. as far as performance goes, they seemed to work well for me and have always gotten me through any trail i've taken them on without any problems.

  • @kaffien i thought he changed the ring too, but once they said they were only running one diff i looked back, and they just pulled the ring. we would always go prepaired with extra birfeilds (toyota front axle), spare diff, and all sort of extras when we would go. never know what's gonna happen. But you can't bring everything. sometimes you just end up being screwed.

  • Lastly, what diffs are being used / tire size on the one that broke. What obstacle shredded your ring/ pinion?

  • @kaffien did you actually watch the video? as i noted in it, we were trying to push big heavy toyo 40x15.50's on a stock dana 44 rear end with 5.38 gears. the pinion in a 44 is way too small and, we always knew that a break would happen sooner than later. in truth, the r&p were going out well before we ran this trail and, when it finally blew, we weren't doing anything hard as you should have been able to see.

  • @wayalife I watched the video, but on coffee break at work so no audio.

    Interesting video nonetheless.

  • @wayalife agreed. i went down to about 5 psi doing the swamp lake trail in the dinkey creek area, and that was a mistake. it helped me for the moment, but i shuda aired up. about 4 miles later, we lost the bead on one tire. thankfully there were sum of us that could get the bead on it again. never going below 7 again.

  • Great stuff... We would sure like to come out west and wheel with you all someday.. until then, we will have to live vicariously thru your videos and wheel here in the OH mud!

  • Bad ass Viedos, but question are the jk's featured in this video day to day drivers? (do you drive them everyday?)

  • @robertadair308 you bet! these are daily drivers and ones that we just drove out to colorado and back last week :)

  • Awesome Rigs!! Keep on Wheelin'!!

  • great videos man!! keep them coming!!!

but ive got a stock 09 4 door JK and im wanting to know how well the 4.5 inch lifts do? i was gonna get one that size or a 5.5 long arm kit...whats your opinion?

  • You gotta submit your video series to HD Theater! The production and sound track is amazing!.....One day when my Jeep is up too snuff..... I would love too join u guys on a trip.... :)

  • coulda sworn I saw that white jk in Alberta

  • Love your videos. Keep them coming. Are you and others with you mechanics by profession? It sure seems that way, judging from the sophisticated field repairs you have done.

  • @Datorium thank you. i am not a mechanic but, i have been working on jeeps a long time. mel, is and is the owner of off road evolution.

  • I throughly enjoy your videos and wheeling adventures, thanks for posting!!

  • @Thunderhead7 thank you, we're so glad that you enjoy them :)

  • These vids make me want to ditch my TJ for the 4 door Jk. I thought they wouldnt be as agile offroad as a 2 door but y'all prove that thinking wrong. Side note... My 4 year old daughter prefers watching your vids over My Little Pony on Youtube! Well put together and great rigs.

  • 2 people drive FJ crusiers

  • These are some of the coolest videos on Youtube. I don't own a Jeep yet but I daydream about it everyday. Your videos are great inspiration. Can't wait for the next one!

  • @jcardona1 thank you, we're so glad that you like our videos

  • Hey i saw someones jeep from your videos yesterday up at clover park technical college in washington, thought that was pretty cool haha, love the videos so much fun to watch

  • a bit different to what we have in sweden, a trail here is just a few mile long at best..

    still, i just love it!

a meet is just a few days a way, and with a YJ with a major engine oil leak , i have to take my KJ.. not as good but it´s at least a JEEP. ;)

wich is, not just a jeep, but a way of life...;)

    love your videos!

  • Even with just 2 wheel drive your Jeep is infinitely more capable than mine in 4Low

  • another awesome video.. come to the east and play in the mud!

  • lol how do you afford gas on those rigs?( long trips = big bills) glad you do spend that $ though YOUR VIDS ROCK SON!

  • @roadman89NE thank you, we're glad that you like our videos. as far as gas goes, i'll be honest, it really sucks that it costs so much.

  • Absolutely incredible video!!! You guys make some of the best videos and not to mention go on some of the best trails!!!

    My hats off to ya!

    P.S. Awesome rigs!!

  • it is unbelievable what you guys can do very good amazing way of life !!

  • SICK VIDEO....PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!

  • Makes me proud to own a JK! Great video and great jeepin as always!!!

  • @brandon06wc thanks :)

  • Got pinion??.... Managed to twist my pinion gear this year at cruise Moab. Tightened up the crush sleeve and drove more than 200 miles home. Very lucky I guess. Great video as usual..... Keep up the good work. :-)

  • Awesome video as always your videos are great!!

Have ya'll ever thought about a trip to colorado?

Most of the trails aren't that tough but the scenery is great.

  • damn that ring and pinion sounded bad but it wont slow you guys down just tear out the son of a bitch and fix it right on the trail and just drive the fucking thing with just front wheel drive so badass you guys rock

  • @goGOgocarting LOL!! thanks :)

  • I never comment on videos but your work is so good. LOVE IT!!!!! Can't wait to do that trail.

  • @bigbenedetti thank you, we really do appreciate it and are so glad that you like our video :)

  • DAMN.

  • @wayalife sweet!! just before hunting season! :)

  • @wayalife ya it is!! whens the next time your visiting that place?

  • @Alexkido12 with any luck, maybe this august

  • love the videos, Dusy is one of the spots where planning on tackling this year. thanks camera person for being diligent with the camera, its amazing to watch these videos but its gotta be a lot of work to get the footage. i myself forget i have a camera due to being so drawn in by my surroundings.

  • @PHELLICS it's a fun, tough and exhausting trail for sure. you can give thanks to cindy for all the great camera work :)

  • sucks for the back!! crack crack crack!!! ahahaha..... i know a good place to off-road :) sherman peak california, take the trail at the coral

  • @Alexkido12 sherman pass is a lot of fun - always fun to do when visiting monache meadows

  • Its been a while since the last video good to see a new one there always the best!!! I will brake down with you guy any time and won't go anywhere till the last jeep is out and safe... hope to see ya on the trail happy wheelin!

  • @93jeepTimma LOL!! while we would love to have you join us on a run, i think i'd prefer if you didn't break down ;)

  • Another awesome Video. you must shoot hours of video to get a few minutes of video that you use. thank you to all that makes these videos possible. Oh and that sound of death to metal would make any one cringe. great in the middle of no where fix .

  • @kowz4u thank you, the videos are for the most part, all cindy's doing and i help just a bit. and yes, literally a dozen hours or more and just to get a few minutes of final product. as far as in the middle of nowhere fixes go, check out our rubicon series and moab series from a couple of years back. i think you'll see we have a little experience at this :D

  • @wayalife I do remember someones ring gear having some teeth knocked off in Moab. looks like your baby has a few new trail scars. those 2 trees I would call Jeep cracker. :) can't wait for the next one.

  • @kowz4u "jeep cracker" - i like it :) as far as ring gear go, yeah, you could say we have some experience dealing with broken teeth ;)

  • Another great video! I look forward to each one you do. The editing is great and the narration is top notch! I hope to one day be able to make the trek across country to these great trails you feature. Also great way to link to the forum at the end of the video!

  • @mfmclain LOL!! thank you so much and i'm glad that someone finally noticed the link at the end!!

  • Did Warren Miller narrate this? It's good to learn from the best.

  • @sirerules LOL!! we love warren miller and are flattered by your kind words :)

  • I camped near Courtright Reservoir last summer, thanks for bringing back great memorize and once again another awesome video!!

  • @Mrjeepcherokee1 thank you, we're glad that you enjoyed it

  • Epic!! Great work!

  • @JKTimmay thank you

  • Comment removed

  • @GeoNemesisITA thank you :)

  • Awesome! You guys should do a trip to sunny South Africa... :P

  • @tassadar316 LOL!! south africa is a bit far but oh how i would love to :)

  • 4x2 only must have been really difficult !

  • @tomaszstochmal like i said in the video, it was some of the toughest wheeling i've ever had to do. thank god i had a prorock 60 up front :)

  • Great video, and with really good production values too, you guys should have your own TV show.

  • @AgujaAzulMD thank you, we're flattered you like our videos

  • @wayalife Do you guys do stuff on the east coast too? I've seen a few Jeeps with Project JK decals around here in Maryland and always wondered about that.

  • @AgujaAzulMD there are a lot of jk-forum members out in your neck of the woods but unfortunately, it's kinda hard for us to get out that way.

  • Great video! I absolutely loved it. Nice shots and awesome taste in music. 30 Seconds to Mars!!! :)

  • @kavon922 thank you and glad you like our taste in tunes :)

  • You freakin' wheeled that last part in FWD with a Dynatrac 60!! If that's not a perfect testimonial, I don't know what is!!

  • @BSDeez16 LOL!! yeah, i was actually babying it at first and then Mel from Off Road Evolution reminded me that I had a Pro Rock 60 and to work it... HARD!! not only did it hold up, it got us all the way home 350 miles away and, it's still working like a champ :)

  • LOVED it! I hope to own a JK sometime in the future... for now, I'm having fun upgrading my '04 TJ. :)

Seriously though, keep it up! I LOVE your videos! VERY well done! (And yeah! They should totally be on TV! There needs to be a Jeep channel! I'd subscribe! lol) Thank you!

  • @hawaiianshells so glad you liked our video :)

  • Trails and spectacular scenery,

    A hug from Portugal

  • @senitheone thank you :)

  • Great vid! I miss four wheeling so much! I want to get back into it some time in the future! I like the one you did of the Rubicon! My fav. Trail ever!

  • @sailingjacobe thank you and hopefully you can get back into it sooner than later

  • The ammount of work you put into these videos is amazing. Keep it up!

  • @gobig57 thank you and we will :)

  • I notice your running Toyo MTs on your rig....just got them...one great tire!

  • @buccaneersboy39 yup, love my toyo's!!

  • Great video, defiantly hitting this trail up this summer.

  • @Mendo awesome, i think you'll have a good time

  • Everytime I think you guys couldn't POSSIBLY do better than the last vid, you come out with one even better! Keep it up! @Mel, how do you like the new MTRs w/ Kevlar? I just bought some for mine and love them.

  • @ursman777 glad you liked it :)

  • Nice jeeps, nice video, great trip!

  • @98SAS4runner thanks :)

  • Again a awesome movie, im also going to make a jeep rubicon trail ready the next 2 months only it is at a 1 10 scale.

Here is another of your fans who has replicated your jeep in RC, you can find it at rcjeeps

  • 0 people are dumb

  • You should see the storms we have to endure on our trails in Colorado!!! Very good video and editing. This deserves MANY more views and MUCH more recognition. Warren Miller is in my head while watching your vids! Good work!!

  • @PorschephileRS the sierra's can get hammered and this was mild by comparison to some. i can only imagine how rough they are in colorado. thank you for the flattering compliment, we love warren miller.

  • great video again, put me in a better mood after finding out ryan dunn died.

  • Haha you know what? it's time for another pro rock 60 in the rear!

  • @austinax123 actually, already have one. this video was filmed 2 summers ago :)

  • the Warren Miller of off road videos. Love your work, these should be on tv

  • @calebdm thank you so much, we love warren miller and this is a big compliment.

  • wayalife, now tell me...why ARE YOU NOT ON T.V.! ? cause the way you make these video's...you should be.

  • @TheXJthatCould LOL!! thank you, we're truly flattered.

  • Great video.

  • @c0ldrink thank you :)

  • @wayalife Yeah man, this one was good. I really liked the moab series also. For me, waiting on the next one in the series was like waiting for the next episode of the sopranos or entourage. I have to echo what others said about the great video quality also.

  • @c0ldrink truly flattered by your compliment, thank you .

  • Hey mate ! Great Vid once again I just remembered a guy who ran a jeep called the Blood Cow TJ that had been extended quite some time ago your voice sounds very similar to that guy's voice ? Really cant wait to get me a jeep again and have some fun adventures like you guy's have !! cheers Brad from OZ

  • What editing software & camera system do you use for these videos? The production quality is quite nice.

  • @jonbellemore we just use a basic sony HD camera that we bought at costco a few years back and adobe premier :)

  • Bravo, very nice trip! this is second clip where I find somthing good for my knowledge (remove ring on site). First lesson with tighting belts, I use in Yehuda desert with broked axle. Your team is best!!

    Yuvenali

  • So, too, Dana60 break!?

  • @niGODnick no - or, at least not on this trip. this was our old dana 44 rear axle before we got a rear prorock 60. this was filmed 2 summers ago.

  • @wayalife That is, it was still Dana44? What are they is brittle :-)

  • @niGODnick the pinion on a 5.38 in a dana 44 is really really really small. there are very few teeth that make positive contact with the ring gear and, it is your weak point. we knew this before we even had them installed but, decided to chance it anyway. lasted all but about 2 months and 9 trails of this level.

  • Gotta ask....when they disassembled the rear axle and pulled it all apart...they didnt fix the rear end?

  • @Tdaz250 we had nothing to fix it with. the most you can hope to do is pull the ring gear so that it eliminates the binding and keeps it from breaking more stuff.

  • your editing it epic! and yall got some amazing jeeps!

  • @buccaneersboy39 thank you :)

  • Great video guys. A buddy and I took our Mitsubishi Monteros through this trail last summer. Good time and a great challenge.

  • Thought you had pro rock 60 front and rear
