sspear0809, your presentation on average income according to education levels was outstanding. Your facts about young adults dropping out of college is troublesome to say the least. I believe the continuous flow of college dropouts will grow even further because of the economic conditions America is facing today. To me, it seems college students are being distracted even more by means of social pressure, entertainment, and a lack of preparation for college level work. Overall, good job
Read "The Great College Con" in the Feb 2, 2009 issue of Forbes. They tell you that going to college will increase your earnings. That's not true. Smart people earn more money and smart people tend to go to college. It doesn't follow that they earn more money because they went to college. Bill Gates and Steve Jobs are college dropouts. They would not have earned more money if they had finished their degrees.
@waverly2468 Well their is a difference between dropping out and being able to graduate and dropping out and not being able to graduate (if the person followed through).
