I remember watching this in my Dramma II class. I was in Robby's class. My class absolutly adored this movie. Some of the girls made Mrs. Hedberg play it again.
Amityville/Slipknot/The Ring/Lost. Really obscure, that's what it brought out in me, I know that's a bit weird but it's really abstract, off-kilter stuff. Amazing. You still haven't told me what production kit you're using, is it a secret?
Great job with your shot composition, lighting and editing! None of it feels like gratuitous film-school trickery -- each passing moment adds to getting the audience closer to understanding Joan's fragile mindset, and *why* she is the way she is.
