Not a catch 22, but I think the video's author knows that. For ex., one partial solution no one talks about is actually doing what the last handful of presidents have only talked about--overhauling/leaning the government. How much of gov't cost is pure waste? How much waste could be overhauled out of the gov't and applied to debt while not having to cut helping services or touch tax rates? The impact on gov't jobs can't be worse than what we already have. But bitter pills are hard to sell.
LOL! its called, the interest bubble... When an entity can't pay its interest in FULL, the interest grows. Its like a cancer, if you don't eliminate it fully, it will just keep on growing. And banks love it cause it means the debt they give out will always come back to pay them for free... or so they think.
Hilariously, everyone knows that this thing will lead to a collapse (when interests are too big that it became impossible to pay back) but nobody does anything.
This world is falling apart. Our leaders are not making smart decisions, our planet is dying, and pretty soon our resources will run out. Is there not a glimmer of hope in the future? Should we all kill ourselves since our future is full of despair?
@MissdWoo No need for such drastic action. Just go back to self sustainability, bartering... whatever works before this whole economy bull**** start taking over our lives like a disease it is now...
@MissdWoo: Change is in our hands. Start from yourself. There is still hope. Reuse, reduce, recycle, refuse waste, join the green revolution, and manage wealth wisely ^-^
easy solution: revive the barter system :)

@tengweiliang We are the men, who arranges the blocks.
Actually that's not true at all. That just means the poor people loses their jobs, and the rich people become less rich.
But the richest people up there, they're still rich.
