I want to see you do a video of your solo with a Boss metal zone or something high gain! Youll have gobs of saturation and harmonics! Practice more and throw in a few more chords in the riff, make it more complex. Dont try too hard either. Take a little more time in your technique until you have it down right. Work on the harmonics and bends and vibratos etc...But not bad,, alot of guitarist start out crappy. You at least have a start, thats good, just keep practicing, and focus on technique.
