It is a wonder that corporations let alone governments have a clue about bribery as they are part and parcel of the problem. From insider trading to banking fraud, to corrupt politicians, complacent "monarchies" and regimes propped up by overseas "aid" we have a culture of shameful and atrocious damnation of the globe which the arms industry and the "lobby" groups do their best to orchestrate yet further mayhem. Very few World leaders combat this evil. jsf
And yet bribery is formalized or legalized in the USA by lobbies. Big businesses get government subsidies for various excuses because they can afford lobbies to argue their case in WDC.
But not the small business. And these subsidies unfairly hurt the competing small businesses.
It used to be a Republican problem. But since Lyndon Johnson, the Democrats are just as involved if not more. Sad.
