You didn't mention Sally Field. She was Gidget in the beach scenes. This was before she was Sister Bertrille in The Flying Nun. Another blast from the past!
@LightningChimp I completely agree - and I think that's just what the song is celebrating, his being the outsider in a sense and not especially hip... when he says 'they're making music to watch girls by', he's excluding himself from the rockers. And that's also why I incorporated The Rolling Stones - along with the girls gushing over them at their show :)
@klaratava Ah, I see, if you look at it that way it's fun. I agree. I just read about the Sabich-case. Very controversial. She is not even allowed to talk about it. :)
Love the song, love all the images, you've done a great job with that. Just a pity it had to be Andy Williams who sings it and not somebody a bit less square. Oh well, compliments anyway. :)
With all respect, it's your perception and limited view of music that is square, not Andy Williams. He is one of the most passionate male singers. He puts his whole heart and soul into whatever he sings. A classic in every sense of the word.
I really like this song, and video. The song has that swinging sound that is so representative of the swinging sixties. Thank you for posting this song and the video.

It's somehow a lot cooler to me that it's Andy Williams who sings this song and not someone with more of a rocker rep.
