My big respects to reggae creators from Jamaica, specially to our beloved Jimmy CLIFF who performed a fantastic show free to people in Chetumal near Cancún, México, at the end of last century during The Caribbean Festival. He is one the art creators that make the world go round, not politicians nor war makers, Viva Jimmy! (B-p)
check out a compilation called the king kong compilation it is the best reggae album i ever heard, followed by this soundtrack. also check the film 'rockers' it is a jamaican comedy with countless reggae cameos. cheers
what a great film. midnight cinema and grindhouse cinema (although this isnt exploitation/grindhouse) needs to be brought back although highly unlikely... :'(
going to watch a jimmy cliff film.

I saw "The Harder They Come" many years ago. Great film -- great music and a sad commentary on what really happened back then.
Nice to hear this great song again. love it.

I like Bunny Wailer's version of this song...he sang it in early 70's with the Barrett brothers.

I remember he was also in that Steven Segal movie "Marked for Death." It was a short scene, he was in a club.
