Played both games, and i have to say that Live is more fun than 2k. Problem with Live is that All-star difficulty is way too competitive and cpu gets double rebounds and % shots than i do.

After playing Live 10 and 2K11 over the weekend I have to say Live is the more fun to play. I hate EA basketball games dating back to 2004. I been a 2k fan since but will admit I hate that they changed the game engine, which was perfect with the 2k 05 college game(Fun game). I'm a guy that likes offense and dunking on motherfuckers, which is why I like Live 10. I like 3pt shooters to make 3s and dunkers dunking the damn ball. No doubt graphics and depth go to 2k, but fun factor is Live 10.

im waiting til EA's contract with the nfl expires and hopefully the nfl doesnt let them renew it, so that 2K could start making football games again .........becuz EA is slacking on alot of stuff....back then 2K was better at football games than Madden......hell they had better animation and graphics than EA......still 2 dis day 2K5 is bein compared to Madden 11.......2K has had time to sit back and watch what madden is doing wrong and if they come out it will dominate Madden

I honestly don't know. The two gameplay styles are different but I wouldn't necessarily say one is worse than the other. However I did notice that in live you lost control of Howard when he lost the ball in one play. The pregame is clearly better in live, but I think that's because in live it's a Finals game.

why do ppl keep comparing 2k10 to live, live terrible compared to nba 2k10 the characters look like shit, there shot forms look stupid, and it doesnt feel like a realistic atmosphere. 2k For life.

NBA 2k10 is more of a "sim type" experience with GREAT commentary smooth animations and decent overall graphics. NBA Live 10 has an "arcade-like" feel. BAD commentary but quicker animations (which is both good and bad) and great player models and court detail. Both are good basketball games in their own right. But, me? I go for simulations more than arcades, so I like 2k10 better. Also, hearing Marv Albert say "And.... the bucket" or "OH! look at the footwork" on EVERY layup is annoying as hell.

the player models in live look way better they have there real skin color not like in 2k where theres onpy 10 colors nba 2k10 has better graphics but live has better player models

I think that live is a much much much much MUCH funner game and gameplay is more realistic and for 2k the appearance and crowd is more realistic!

I honestly don't know. The two gameplay styles are different but I wouldn't necessarily say one is worse than the other. However I did notice that in live you lost control of Howard when he lost the ball in one play. The pregame is clearly better in live, but I think that's because in live it's a Finals game.

not sure whether to get nba elite 11 this year or 2k 11. 2k 11 looks awesome and i believe it will be awesome but with the new real physics for elite 11 seems pretty sick to but not sure i can trust it or not. anyone wanna help me pick?
