Courage & self esteem are key indeed , all the transitioning and hormones FFS/ SRS all dont amount to Jack , if your self-esteem are in the toilet , thats why alot of TG people wiend up committing Suicide , Ive know a Gal that did back in 1998 , she was very pretty & post-op , she jumped offa Bridge in the middle of the nite, soo sad , I knew her well , RIP
Really wonderful topic! I'm going (2) therapists, one who isn't well-versed on TG issues, and the other, who specializes in that area. I logged onto this video, and watched it with my therapist who's just now starting to realize the challenges I'm facing, and will face. She said it was a GREAT video!! You look 100% passable :)
What you did/are doing makes you the most courageous person in the World. But the way you come off, you're so quiet and shy! Let the courage within flourish for the World to see!
Thank you. It's true that you're an inspiration. I'm mentally preparing myself for transition and your video is a major help by putting everything into perspective. I wish you the best~
Your a amazing person... as a transsexul my own self, I can relate to alot that you talk about. Your a wonderful speaker. and I admire you for your courage. your a awsome inspiration to all of us going through transition. (((hugs))
It seems like a natural born trait, the fact that humans reject the 'differents' coming from their perspectives as if they were protecting themselves and it doesn't help either how parents, generally speaking, raise their kids today.
Shame yes, but glad that you're taking a stand about it. You look nice as a girl by the way.
I'm impressed by your humanity. I often meet people with so much about how gay or alternative and they forget to consider that people are going to judge them no matter what. I encourage you to continue educating people on the reactions they might encounter simply from the way they wish to be perceived.
Thankx 2 for your words of insperation , ditto for me 2 ,that you are beautiful inside & out , I still am battling some courage issues myself as a M2F transwomen , great post , best wishes to you XO, huggs ,Sierra (USA)....
You are an inspiration. I wish Gender wasn't a Binary but a Continuum. People are so blind and ignorant. Keep it up, i give you so much credit. Your situation has to be difficult, but at the same time I know of people who have it even worse as you mentioned... small conservative town, everyone knows everyone... but there is light at the end of the tunnel. I wish you luck in your pursuit of happiness. = - )
hi, you are amazingly insightful and sincere. you look very pretty too. i'm m2f transitioning in nova scotia while i'm going to university.
you have a very realistic view of transition. this year i noticed that nobody stared at me once i stopped dressing in my old boy-clothes so i'm fulltime now.
Certainly it takes courage to go against the convention of gender. However, I'm a guy with such feelings, but at the same time I also have feelings for maleness, as well. I'm not completely against being male, but I'm a man who has feminine feelings (especially a desire to be a mother). Very strange, I know. And I don't always feel feminine. I suppose I'm going to feel this way for the rest of my life; not entirely uncomfortable, but a bit alienated from both genders.
Yes, it seems the effeminate men don't really have a niche in this discussion. It seems that transgendered, and transitioning go further than many effeminate men want to go.
I feel very effeminate, yet at the same time I am most definitely male and I enjoy that too. However, soceity does not like effeminate men, so we hide it. Going the entire path of transitioning to female doesn't seem true either.
Related to this topic, I find people give me more weird looks when I dress in an ambiguous manner than when I dress either clearly masculine, or clearly feminine (as in, I'm obviously wearing girl clothes). When people can't clearly fit you in a category, it seems to bother them.
you are a lovely LADY it does not matter where you came from only what you are now, and you look and sound and act like a lovely young lady, may your god keep and walk with you forever. huggs Aunty Wendy
HI I'd like to thank you and tell your really looking good. I live in montreal I'm older than you and I do wish I would have transition in younger. I kept on putting off and it just makes it harder. Thanks again.
I just started watching your vids.. I'm happy for you and I think you're a wonderful person inside and out... Stay strong and I wish nothing but the best for you. I'm going to subscribe to your vids.. if only for the inspiration.... thanks!
Very beautiful, mature and important words. You talk about ts transition on so many levels and give some really wicked advise for those whose are at the begining of their road. Its needed so much.I went through it all and ive been all alone with so many thoughs, doubts, fears and whathever so i now how it is.You are such a pretty lady.I wish you all the best.Love from Poland-Kinga
A very well informed, intelligent and reasoned video. People like you help many other transsexuals to know they are not alone. Thank you so much. You have lovely hair by the way.
I think people who see you, those who do not know you, immediately assume you are a girl. You're extremely passable right now...not just passable, you're a pretty girl. Prettier than me. You give fantastic advice, and I love listening to your account although it doesn't really help me considering I'm fine with my biological gender. Good luck and may your hormones not give you too many problems.
Thanks to you ive told my parents about what i want, and i was really scared about their reactions and the confidence ive gained from you is inspiring, they accepted this as something i want so thank you may your words inspire many more!
I've finally gotten up the nerve to begin my own journey through this as well. It helps and comforts me to see someone as wonderful as yourself so whiling to share your thoughts and feelings.
maxim, youre absolutely right! i have had a lot of side comments from my collegues-str8 guys and gals. its really very depressing when you learn that most of them are against the idea.Even my gay friends, theyre all opposed to being a transsexual. BUT the only thing that gives me hope is my BF. he supports me all the way... by the way, congrats maxim for graduating with flying colors! mwah!
As a 57-yr old post-operative MTF TS woman who transitioned 32 yrs ago and who lives in stealth, I have absolute confidence. Still, you never can forget your situation and it is a constant challenge. Still, I would not have wanted to live my life in any other way.
We definitely need a video like this. Underconfident people might be too daunted by the idea of transition that they take the suicidal route. They need to realize that things take time, even if, as in my case, they can seem to take forever. I don't know of anybody who could go from one gender full time one day to the other gender full time the next.
Great to see you back on-line. This was a very interesting and informative video. I have let people know of what I am doing, and been on "E" for 4 months. I have not started to dress except around the house, that is my next step. Good luck with Grad School. Aly
