I like it ! true the track owes much to the Tubeway Army sample, I think they have done it justice and passed it on to a younger generation, who some may not know the original anyway .this is how music has always evolved ,by influence and re interpetation , I love both songs in different ways and think the Sugar Babes rule and are certainly the best of the bunch of this genre!

Sampling from 'Are Friends Electric' by Gary Numan was genius. I remember that being played in a club when I was 13 & it was so good it was scary. I like what The Sugarbabes people have done with this. The lyrics don't quite match the eery-spartan synth but the overall effect's great!

Umm - sorry to burst the Richard X bubble but I engineered the "ORIGINAL BOOTY" in 1996 for a mate of mine. Richard X was our A+R at Fresh records. Gary Numan cleared the sample but Adina Howards label wouldn't clear hers. 4 Years later and Richard X rang me to try and track down Mr Timeofthemumph coz he wanted to rework it. Mr T was in Thailand but Rich went ahead regardless. Shame the originator of this masterpiece never got any of the praise for it.
