  • Ok I have had a bottle of this for a few months. I put off using it because I bypassed the heater core. I plan on doing this soon maybe tomorrow. I have a 1989 Ford f250 xlt lariat single cab lwb with an efi fuel injected 5.8l 351w v8 engine. The heater core leaks a little without anything on and with the heat on it leaks a lot(when its hooked up). What should I do? hook up the heater core and run it through or just leave it alone?

  • thanks for making this magic in a bottle called liquid aluminum, i noticed i had wet carpet on passenger side front and back, at first i thought it was rain water getting in, but i googled wet carpet and it said it might be AC drain plug rain water or heater core, i checked my radiator fluid levels and it was low, so i knew i had a heater core leak, at first i used this powered aluminum, slowed down the leak but did not stop it,

  • @thabg007 so after getting tired of pulling up carpet to dry it with a hair dryer, i decided it needed another dose of stop leak so i choose bars leak, and had heat on full blast for a 37 mile drive, no more wet carpet or mildew and fluid levels remain the same
