Thanks for this info. All the wedding celebrations I have attended here in Dubai, women are separated from men that's why this is my own understanding but I have been informed already by some friends here that this is not always the case. As you said it depends on the couple how they will have their party celebrated. Cheers! I hope you like the video!
My dear, in Islam, men are always separated with men. Women have their own celebration with the bride and sometimes the groom joins them but bride can never join men's celebration.
actually alot of middle-eastern weddings are together, sometimes they are seperate bc of religous beliefs or space issues but usually they are mixed, it doesnt really matter, whatever the family is comfertable with, it depends on where they are from and what they are accostomed to. If it is a mixed wedding that doesnt mean they are less religous it just means thats what they are used to.
I am sorry but i would like to ask who ever said " you would love to be palistinian" to the jordinian guy. I am not jordanian nor palistinian but i know the whole history and know the jordanians allowed palistinians into thier land since theres no Palistine now,,so at least thank them and show appreciation
instead of having fun and spreading yourselfs around the world why dont u try to do something for your invaded land..no offense plaistinians but honestly i see palsitinians who are multi rich and care less about thier occupied land or about thier poeple suffering in Falastine,,your land is wiped off the map and high majority of the world doesnt recognize it as a country nor does the United Nations,,thats a shame
Wallah ya maniak you only wish to be palestinian, by the way if you knew history ya sockit Jordan belonged to the palestinian until ur king sold out and bend over to Britain and Israel
Hi kristn, no they dont allow gay marriages, disregard the fools with those comments. And Zaffah is a celebration. In arab cultures some Zaffah's pertain to wedding celebration, and some pertain to a cultural poetry pertaining to the groom and bride, where they create a circle a certain person would make up some poetry and everyone repeats after him. Overall Zaffah pertains to any celebration.
Sir, thank you for this information you shared me. I am a Filipino and presently working here in Dubai as property consultant. I want to learn all about Arab culture. It's nice just that lots of people don't understand them as they are always categorized as terrorist which is not true!So sad really. It's a just a matter of acceptance of one another.
By the way, thanks so much for learning about our culture, I hope you have a wonderful time in Dubai, and I too hope to learn more about all the cultures in this beautiful world. :-)

Hi! Sorry, but I am not familiar with your culture. Hope you won't mind me asking this. In Palestine they allow gay marriages? What is Zaffah?
I love this dance that's why I uploaded this video :)
