I have an s10 with the lt4600 I think and it sounds like I have a turbo when I put it to the floor then I hear a faint grinding/ rattling sound :(

i have a 1989 chevy 1500 with a 350 turbo and it dose the same thing now it will pull but not that goo did ur truck stop pulling almost

@musclekid13 i thought it was a lean mixture that would cause the popping. It does smoke alittle black smoke now that i noticed though and smells alittle gassy. Also, The crossover pipe is broke off between the exhausts due to rust so its got one nasty exhaust leak..

My turbo 350 is sounding really similar to this. it just happened yesterday. it has that annoying high pitched noise and then it knocks when put in gear. especially in reverse. Could this be my problem??

@grafftodatrack yeah it does. i figured out the transmission bolts got knocked loose when i hit a pothole. but i tightened it and the high pitched noise is gone but now it makes an annoying ticking sound. but not in park.

i have a 95 camaro lt1 and after i sprayed the car with a 100 shot it sounds like that but not as loud the engine runs fine and it shifts fine but noisey

i have an 04 sierra 5.3 4x4 auto. when i use my passing gear on the free way, it feels like something is slipping a bit, then it catches and away i go. could my torque converter be going out ? i notice when i'm crusing away from a stop there is a slithg bump when i hits 2nd grear. only sometimes. and i also notice it will slip into neutral when changing gears sometimes too. this is starting to sound worse and worse to me as i type it :(

the lockup clutch is probably going out. that happens to my maxima too. u can live with that
