  • Well, you can always put the camera near a strong source of light, that way the ISO will decrease to 200 or maybe 100. When you have the ISO at a low number, simply press the ISO button to lock the exposure. That way you can move around the room and your exposure will remain the same (unless you use the zoom, in that case the exposure will unlock itself). Also, remember to set the exposure auto release to 30 misn. because by default the exposure will go back to auto in 3 mins. Cheers.

  • that is a level 99 cat :D

  • It was a feral kitten hanging out in my back yard. After about 3 days, I put out a basket on a pen and the little guy tripped it himself without me pulling on the string. He managed to fall into heaven.

  • maybe your cat has done something to it?

  • v=9I1LQn2qJho, here see this video! i ve done manual exposure control with T1i

  • I have this cam and mine does not do that.

  • Nice cat !

When you take a phot during the video can you choose the quality (raw+jpeg) ? and the format (3/2 or 16/9) ?

Thanks a lot for your reply

  • For still photography, 16x9 is kind of pointless when you're shooting the photo. That's because you can always crop afterwards to any aspect ratio you like. If you want an automated way to convert images, I highly recommend FastStone Photo Resizer which is free.

  • if you use the exposure lock button it should solve the problem.

  • why does it continue going black at some times?

  • prehaps he is taking pictures while recording
