Steve Roach and Robert Rich are amazing alone, but when they get together, it's pure magic...

My absolute favorite Robert Rich work is Yearning, with Lisa Moskow... VERY ambient, VERY entrancing, and you can meditate to it at the drop of a hat!

well, I would say Roach should distill much of his work into fewer solid pieces instead of releasing three or four new CDs annualy...but generally, both are successful in their efforts...

It is REALLY important bcs first - the conceptions of new age and ambient are totally different, and second - the styles themselves are way different - I do completely agree with slyfeatvegas.

Generally, master Rich is one of the best of genre composers... I 'd even say more profound and not so depressive than Steve Roach (who is brilliant nevertheless)

he is darker and less specific than roach, roach has a wealth of releases i dont agree with the use of depressive, roach achieves greater depth and so greater reflectivness, his music is only depressive if the person listening to it has depressive tendancy's
