I LOOOOVE bio silk silk therapy! My mom showed me it and I've used it since. It really does smell pretty! And I also use it on my clip in extensions and it helps keep them shiny and smooth! Best hair product! :)

Hey, I was just wondering if you've tried Moroccan oil? I've heard it's better because it doesn't have silicon that coats your hair, like biosilk does. I've tried biosilk and I'm almost out, and I'm contemplating getting Moroccan oil instead, so I was just curious if you've tried it.. before I go and spend the big bucks on it, haha. Thanks!!

@xamanda87 i'm using bio silk now and i love it!, but i also have used moroccan oil and it's just as great! it smeels so fresh. it really does make your hair soft. it's a little thicker and more intense than bio silk (maybe why it costs so much). for you it might be worth it to try to the morroccan oil to compare. either one you choose, you won't be dissappointed.

Silk Infusion does smell like a men's cologne, but I love it... And it's not overbearing. It's soft. Almost all of my clients comment on how good it smells. I've got lots of people hooked on that stuff. And it makes your hair sooo shiny and soft. (but all of the CHI products do) Farouk is just an all-around great manufacturer of products, and is made in the USA :)

ifyour hair id damage, dry, overworked or rebeld... you shoud use CHI, CHI is alcohol free, and also is enrich with soy and wheat protein, so it will reconstruct your hair. @FANTITITITA I agree.  They're both great products, but I definitley prefer CHI Silk Infusion. It's lighter and makes your hair so shiny. Especially if you flat iron. Biosilk has a tendency to look greasy on your hair if you're not careful. And in my opinion, S.I. smells better. But if would totally depend on what type of hair you're working with and what you're trying to achieve.

I don't agree, I love the smell of the silk infusion, and I don't think it smells like mens cologne at all. Everytime I wear it people will stop me and be like, ohmygod, you smell amazing :o The only thing is that it makes your hair greasy if you use too much so I use a dime amount, but it only ends up in one area. I think it makes my hair SO SOFT and silky! Its amazing :B

I have done a terrific amount of research and it has come out that I have indeed purchased a fake one. I think you did too! :O The real Chi products have the words separated by bullet points underneath and "TM" next to the "CHI". I think I'll purchase mine somewhere else next time :(

How much was the Chi Silk Infusion off of Amazon? I got mines for $11.63 including shipping and it seems different from the one I bought at my salon. I bought a $12 2 oz. bottle at my salon and it made my hair REALLY smooth and it was even thicker and everything, it even lasted a LONG time. But the one from Amazon was 6 oz. and it made my hair feel neutral, not too silky or shiny. I'm wondering if mine was a fake. I know that others sell fake Chi Irons, but wondering if Chi products too?

I had both.. I totally LOOOOOVVVEEEEE CHI silk infusion... For one, I love any kind of mens cologne that smells like that (Swiss Army and Swiss Army Altitude for example- fiance wears them)... and it reminds me of him. Plus i just like that scent. Honestly, they are both very good! I see you got the large bottle of silk infusion- i guess you will be using it for a while. I am still on my little bottles... :)

I completely agree. Whenever given a choice between Chi or Biosilk, I always pick Biosilk. It has a nice fresh laundry scent in my opinion, while Chi definitely smells like men's cologne.

jesus christ u can put it on dry or wet hair, just put it on wet so u can lock in ur moisture and use moisture shampoo i like nexxus and infusium 23 :P

SD alcohol 40 is a short chain alcohol which is used to help make products evaporate fast and dry the hair. As the product evaporates it can take the oils in your hair. Same with Sd Alcohol by itself. It is not a fatty alcohol. Fatty alcohols would include Lauryl alcohol, Cetyl alcohol, Myristyl alcohol, Stearyl alcohol, Cetearyl alcohol and Behenyl alcohol. This is from what i've researched ^.^
