Do not visit Norway with your small children.....a dreadful country hides behind all the scenic beauty......the government find pretexts to "legally" take the children away and put them in Barnevernet.....No protests from 'public'....the rules of the country are perverted.......The government does not respect cultures of other countries......Cannot be called a civilized country......Visit this country if you are single or without children or if you hate your children.
Hi i was just wondering what norwegians think of English people moving to norway. I am well educated and quiet and i hope make many friends. I have been offered a job as an assistant doctor I will be working there for 2 years and then return to England (unless i really like it there!) I am now learning norwegian and im hoping to pass my test soon. Any help would be brilliant so please message me in as much detail as possible such as if they will treat me differently or be friendly. Thankyou! :)
@ryan199z Most usually Norwegians are very friendly and they like to exchange experiences with other people. Britons are highly acknowledged in Norway, and are treated almost like neighboors. The majority of us speak English very well, but not everyone is comfortable to express themselves in English.. You should learn Norwegian cause I think that you by that show respect to your surroundings. I have never heard a English-speaker talking "pure" Norwegian though.. Some sounds are too tough.. ;)
