  • This time it MUST have been over Mobius, because 1. I've never seen the interstellar(what the hell does that mean?) amusement park, 2. There's no such planets or aliens in our dimension, 3. I've never seen Sonic or any Mobian in person. 3 cheers for Orbot (we never hear his name in game so those who knew his name went online or read the manual) for stopping whatever Dr. Eggman was trying to do.

  • @CuriousUserX50 "Interstellar" means between stars--though people often just use it to mean something in space, like Eggman's theme park.

In any case, the Sonic series is set in a fictional universe and mostly on a fictional Earth, just like how X-Men is set on a fictional Earth (have you ever seen a man in yellow with claws and a metal skeleton?) or Looney Tunes is set on a fictional Earth (have you ever seen a coyote build machines?)

  • @Overhazard 1. Video Games Characters are well known for living on another planet in another dimension, Earth to them gets referred to as the Real World.

    2. Sonic and friends are often referred to as Mobians.

    3. You do realise Orbot(we never hear his name mentioned in game) is a hero for stopping whatever Dr. Eggman was going to do.

    4. No offense sir but why have you not answered my comments on your other vids for a week now.

    5. Answer all I said. I am CuriousUserX50. Explains.

  • FYI the games have never been set on a planet called Mobius! Mobius was used in just about all the comics and TV Series, but never the games! Terms like Mobians are exclusive to the comics!

Sonic Adventure 2 pretty much established that the planet they are on is Earth, but like Overhazard said it's just a very different Earth to the real one that we live in! It's inhabited by mostly humans but it isn't unusual to see a pink hedgehog in a red dress walking through a city street buying groceries!

  • @Bowmaj21 1. No idea of what FY1 Means?

    2. Would you consider them as Mobians or Anthropomorphic animals (without clothing apart from shoes and gloves).

    3. I've never even seen Sonic sleep anywhere and Earth to to video game characters is called the Real World. Think Sonic had an encounter with a dinosaur at one time.

    4. Will send Overhazard a message about this. He doesn't have to respond to this comment. You're saying only Nintendo Characters are, what about Oddworld and Rayman.

  • 1. It's FYI (For Your Information).

    2. They're Anthropomorphic Animals (Mobians is a term which is exclusive to the Archie Comics).

3 & 4. I don't really understand what you're asking. Sonic's world is Earth, cos that's what they say in SA2! I never mentioned Nintendo characters!

  • @Bowmaj21 How could Anthropomorphic animals not wear clothing? And I and mist always knew it as Mobius especially Sonic X where warped to Earth through Chaos Control. Earth's our planet and I've never seen Sonic in person and many places he went to cease to exist and he even encountered dinosaurs. Sonic came to Earth more commonly in the M&S Games.

  • You haven't seen Sonic in person because he doesn't exist!

It's like saying Batman can't take place on Earth because I can't find Gotham City on a map anywhere!

It's a fictional Earth! And Sonic X, like the comics, have different continuities so there are often major differences! In Sonic X, anthropomorphic animals are from a different dimension to humans, and Sonic and his friends are warped to the human world! But in the games that doesn't happened since Animals and Humans already co-exist!

  • Also, my theory on why the moon is not half destroyed here, is because there are multiple moons in Sonic's universe, but that's just my theory.

  • is this wii?

  • @rex1409cp Yes, this is the Wii version.

  • THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT.

    XD

  • @DarkMage978 Just you. Kate Higgins sounds nothing like him.

  • When Sonic says "I don't like what you're doing to my friends in there!" doesn't it just remind you of the old games when Sonic's main goal was to rescue his animal friends?

I think that's why I like this game so much! People complain about the new direction that they took the series after this game, but screw them, I like it!

The humor is corny but I had a few chuckles! The plot is simple but it's way better than "Sonic Befriends Whiney Princess while poorly written Time Travel Plot unfolds!"

  • @Bowmaj21 Heh, if you follow the instruction manual for Sonic CD, where Amy is referred to as Princess Acorn, then that plot you described also applies for Sonic CD.

  • Well Amy isn't whiney, just a bit of a Sonic Obsessed Fangirl! And they at least used her again and developed her character more! But with Princess Elise they knew right from the start that she would never be seen or mentioned in another game again, so I ask What's the point?

Sega should try fleshing out the characters that they already have, not introduce new ones every game! Especially not ones who simply become Sonic's BFF for that one game, hog all the spotlight, then are never seen again!

  • @Overhazard lol, they really changed the name of Amy to make publicity of SatAM? that maes no sense.

  • Sonic can break dance?????

  • Here's the trick to the S-Rank here. You smash that ship one side, obtain the Rocket it drops, hit it NEAR the center (the parts that make Sonic drop to the road after only four hits), and after it warps, don't get smooshed by a meteor, use the Rocket, and hopefully you should see your score jump to more than 600,000 points. Repeat this, but the second time you use the Rocket, you get 200,000 points. At the end if you have a lot of Rings, you should get the 2,900,000 points required.

  • I got an S-Rank on this! It was actually pretty easy.

  • I have a feeling Eggman's the final boss, as I'm stuck on Act 2 in the Asteroid Coaster.

  • Unfortunately, because this one is NOT themed on whales, Tails loses the pun in his advice. What do you mean by that?

  • @trainboy437 This boss is a harder version of the Orcan in Starlight Carnival which WAS themed on whales.

  • @Overhazard I understand that

  • @trainboy437 Okay, I'm glad it's solved then.

  • @Overhazard Oh yeah..."whaling away" I get it

  • @Overhazard Then again, it's probably because it squeals when you use a Laser (or in this case a Rocket) on it

  • @Overhazard I guess that's why it squeaks too

  • 'cu' in portuguese means 'ass' ahahaha

  • Cubot IS an idiot

  • At least, before now

  • Do you play any Metroid game?

  • @7ofSpade No, I do not.
