The superstition of cats stealing a baby's breath, is accidentally stepping on a babys nose, while his head is in the mouth trying to get the milk residue. this was said when a child died from crib death, but they blamed it on the cats, because they didnt know what crib death was back then. though cats are known for liking milke, and some have been known to lay on the childs head, smothering them by accident. No animal should be in a crib unattended at any time.
I don't dislike cats, I am only VERY allergic to them. Wherever we touch gets hives, my nose runs like a shady bandit, and my eye's get itchy and water. I still love cats though.

You have to be careful with cats. They arent your friends, they are vicious, whenever you least espected, they turn on you. I know of someone that the cat grew up with the baby and all of the suddent, the cat jumped on the baby and destroyed the baby's face. He had to be put to sleep.
haha its all to do with how you take care of the cat i say.... i can create a cat that would want to kill/scratch anything that moves and is curious about, or a cat much like one in the video (Very Difficult)
I think "kitty-cat" wasn't too fond of you being so close to the baby while "kitty-cat" was being pillow. Did you see that glare? Hehe, cute cat, cute baby. Wonderful video.
whats up with everyone saying they can sence that the baby is unhappy , im an animal lover but they dont have super powers , they mearly watch the boday language and listen to the babies cries and asociates that as distress and is comforting the baby
cute! but i think the baby just wants to get his/her face from being buried in covers every time he/she tries to relax its head..?? maybe??? still adorable!
50 years ago I can remember the family cat getting into a bassinet with my sisters crying baby. The cat just laid there and purred and the month old baby quieted right down. Animals really do understand.
Oddly enough, Cats are quite maternal. Or at least thats what I think. When I was a baby, my mums cat would sleep just outside the cot. When I was a toddler, the cat would sleep on the bed. I used to pull her tail and lie on top of her, but she still followed me around.
Same with my twin and I. My Ma had two cats, Puss & Dick (just gives you a look into her twisted sense of humor), long-haired black cats. One would stay in our crib, and the other would keep watch under our changing table, on look-out. When somebody other than my Ma walked in, the kitty under the table attacked (not viciously, but like GET OUT!). They kept good watch over us, not once hurting us. We were loved by kitties.
@Shaina030 No. Dick died at the age of 8 from Liver Failure, we were maybe 5; Puss died of old age, about 14 years old--we were 10. But, that winter my Ma rescued four kittens left to die in a box inside a wheelbarrow on the side of the road in the middle of a blizzard near my aunt's place. They were maybe 5 weeks old. I could kill who did that. Well, she brought home two, Rascle & Sassy were our Christmas presents. Rascle went missing in '07 but we still have Sassy. She turns 13 this year.
@GeoRockin21 Lol when I was born we had two cats. Talk about twisted sense of humor. My dad named them Sadat and Begin. I'm still here, although sadat did scratch me once when I was two, but I was a grabby toddler, he probably reached the end of his patience. They were good baby-sitters.
A friend of mine has a newborn, and her cats (Thelma and Louise) are the primary baby-sitters. (supervised of course ;) )
I remember once my brother (we were about 2-ish) accidentally tugged too hard on Puss's long fur. (OMG, I'm waiting for a pervert to have a field day with that sentence!!!) She didn't scratch him or bite him. She whapped him once on the head. No claws extended. Her message, "OUCH! Don't do THAT again!" And my Ma never had to say anything. Bri-Guy never did it again. We wuved our kittehs.
@thecrazyalchemist I don't understand people who don't like cats, they're just so great! My cat is so loyal to me whenever I take a nap or sit down, he is ALWAYS there right next to me.
@thecrazyalchemist I had a parrot that got me up and played with me all day , boy did i cry when he died..... , i had a cat too , thinking of getting a savana but it would probably want to get outside and i can't afford to loose 20k$ to 40k$ every month.
@thecrazyalchemist Not all cats are like that. Mine when I was a toddler came up and attacked me when I was playing. Mum and the baby sitter watch the cat walk up to me and deattach it's claws in my face for what seemed like no reason. Mum left it outside for the dogs to play is how the story went.
@EnterEndor In your spare time do you also hunt for witches? Have you had any Bigfoot encounters lately? Has the Tooth Fairy stopped by? Do you have hairy palms from masturbating?

This vid doesn't surprise me at all. It's really nice :)
Cats have a huge amount of love and will definitely protect those they see themselves as responsible for.
When I was really young and my mum scolded us, our cat would stand in between us and hiss at my mum.
