You can also beat the first head pretty easy using Nemean Cestus given after Hercules without losing too much health. I was stuck on this part for awhile until I saw this vid. I never thought to use the Rage of Sparta. Also, the goats can be easily killed by using the Nemesis whip. Just use O to stun the goat and keep pressing triangle. The goat will be stuck in the air and won't even hit the ground until its death.
(this level made me switch my game off) the grapple is so unresponsive and flimsy, the blocking is weak as hell this level needs be removed or altered its horrible amongst others with multiple species of enemies completely takes away from the games replay factor

I think the easiest way to defeat this dog is as follows on titan mode (max cestus and whip are must):
3 heads: stay calm. when he's spitting dogs, approach it and punch it like mad with the cestus until the circle appears. kick dogs at him when you can.
2 heads: switch to whip. electrify (R2) him (AND the goatman, if possible) three or four times. then RoS cerberus to circle.
1 head: simply spam electric making sure BOTH goats are caught in it. finish the remnants with punches.
this is fucking impossible, i tried every weapon, trick i could think of, NOTHING kills the damn cerberus, i have all horns, feathers, eyes, i get to the 3rd head im at 40%> health, then the 2nd goat comes and rapes me, and yes i freeze it with the gorgon, still i get pwned, *sigh* guess ill have to try and get the platinum on another game...
if you guy's could take the goats alone, its easy to kill them, just press circle while you're near them to take his weapon and throught it to them. I do it after I kill cerberus, and I its easy.

anyway this was helpful, i didn't know that i could concentrate on the cerberus instead of killing the goats AND THEN hitting the cerberus. when you cut the 2nd head, the 1st goat dies automatically --- nice. i'll try.

In Chaos, keep the 1st satyr alive (but badly wounded) until cutting the cerberus' 2nd head - in the last phase there's always 2 satyrs, but if the original satyr is alive, there's only one full-HP satyr coming to aid the cerberus (so when I made a mistake and killed the 1st satyr, there's two coming with full HP). After that use spells to finish off the wounded satyr, wound the cerberus to cut the 3rd head off, and the last satyr is easy to defeat by grabbing its pole again and again...
@BrokenTVProductions This was played on GOD MODE dumb ass. I took off the "cheats"(Not really cheats. Godly possessions that you collect during the game) and scrubs like you are still whining about not being able to get past this part lol
2. With Claws of Hades, use the Gorgon as your magic attack to stone the Satyr, shatter him & repeat Step 1. Make sure you're away from the cerberus & that the satyr is infront of you for this to work & not waste magic, cause you only have enough magic for 2 attacks.
3. When the two satyrs appear, move away from the cerberus, make sure the satyrs are close together, and stone them both.
4. Now, if you have enough, use Rage of Sparta & go to town on the cerberus!
I just finished this part today, and it took me several dozen times to do it:
1. Using the Nemesis Whip, hold L1 & tap Square to hit the Cerberus. This will keep you in the air a few seconds & away from the exploding dogs. Try to dodge him as best you can, then chop off its head.
this battle is unbelievable... seriously. and the sword of Olympus is all bad ass and shit and can be blocked by a goats spear??!! fuck, its so infuriating at times, lol
You can tell from the Cerberus' behavior...saw it every once in a while standing idle, you wouldnt get that opportunity in Chaos mode, the same applies for Satyrs too.

okay i figured out how to kill Cerberus the easiest way.
first,do how ever u like to rid him of his 1st head on the second head when the first satyr pops out; use the HADES CLAWS to summon a GORGON and turn him to stone which will give u enough time to quickly kill him, then take out the next head. On the final head with the two satyrs, use it on 1 satyr and kill him(u can only use2x). take out the last Cerberus head and on the last satyr just GRAB HIM until u kill him w/ his spear in that order
@LCRUZ93 This fight, for me, is like swimming up a river of exploding dogs. And as you swim monsters with hooks are trying to kill you and a giant 3 headed dog is trying to eat you. That is how bad this is. Zeus is an absolute pussy in comparison.
I am playing this on Titan mode so after watching this i have some what of an idea but Its not going to be a one time kill its going to take me a few tries to beat cerberus.

Finally beat it. I used the Blades (max lvl) square x4 triangle, and dodged. Avoid the dogs (or kick them when you can). After the first head did above combo a few times along with Army of Sparta when needed (when both were close). Used Sword of Olympus to bring down the Cerberus enough to pull 2nd head off, then original combo, AoS a few times then killed Cerberus. After that, I switched to Nemesis blades and L1 square'd them until they died (used any remaining magic also).
I've been stuck on this part for a couple hours now (Titan mode). I tried using the gorgon to turn the satyrs to stone, but you can only use it twice then you're out. I don't recommend using the blade on them either, as they block way too much, just focus on the dog. This part is a real pain.

@RydarGames God Mode can be hard too. Like this cerberus fight or the chimera fight, where 2 of them spawn at the same time. Or that one fight where all the huge ass thingies with their morning star spawn. and there's like 4 or 5 of them at the same time.
I wouldn't say it's "Normal" for a Hack'n'Slay beginner. So yeah, God Mode is kicking ass too.

His method is sound but there are some easier ways out there on youtube that show a better way on TITAN mode.
One way is using your bow on the first 2 dogs that come out and then kick the 3rd and then use your gorgon magic after your rip off the first head to get rid of the satyr so the second part is easier, then magic and rage of sparta till the cerberus is done. Once you're down to the satyrs it gets easier because you can just counter-block-counter etc...
Not chaos/titan mode. Only semi-way possible way to defeat this boss is to use the gorgon serpent soul summon on the satyrs and shatter them as fast as possible, and just evade the dog and pound it with cestus.
One easy way to beat this beast in titan mode is to use the nemean cestus until you rip off his first head, then spam the blade of exile magic until you rip off his second head, and do so while those goatmen are near you to get rid of them at the same time. Then finally, use blade of olympus until you can rip off his last head. the leftover goatmen should be easy to get rid of because all you need is grab them.
then when one head is gone ..press pause for the upgrade menu to pop up and press triangle for soul summoning and select gorgon serpent to turn those goatmen to stone to easily kill them with one punch...the weapon u have to use to summon it is with hades hooks

Finally Passed the Level. What i did was use the Cestus and beat the shit out of the cerberus. When the First Goat thing came out i freezed it but i missed!!!. But no worries!! i pressed O on the Goat 3 times and i killed it
then i hit the cerberus again and ripped his head off. after that i freezed the goat and pressed o on the last one. then i finnaly PWND the Cerberus with the Blade of Olympus
This titan mode? Titan mode my ass... Look at how little health Kratos looses when he gets hit. And all assholes who say that this fight is easy even in titan mode or higher are full of shit with big ass talks
wow i thought this would be rediculously hard on titan mode, but i found out if you use the nemean cestus and keep sidestepping behind cerberus, its actually pretty easy.
who cares this is done on easy or normal. anyone can beat it this way, theres no way you took the damage that you did and didnt die on any other level.
Nothing anyone told me worked cause my claws of hades werent level 4 and I didnt have rage of olympus. So heres that I did, I FOCUSED PURELY ON KICKING THE SMALL DOGS! Then whenever the satyrs came close, I would whip out my apollo bow and shoot at him and he WILL run like the pussy he is and continue to kick a small dog at the Satyrs and the cerberus. Then once it came to the last head I used all my magic and then cerberus died, got more health...then kicked the last satyrs ass! FUCK YEAH!!!!

After that use spells to finish off the wounded satyr, wound the cerberus to cut the 3rd head off, and the last satyr is easy to defeat by grabbing its pole again and again...

2. With Claws of Hades, use the Gorgon as your magic attack to stone the Satyr, shatter him & repeat Step 1. Make sure you're away from the cerberus & that the satyr is infront of you for this to work & not waste magic, cause you only have enough magic for 2 attacks.
3. When the two satyrs appear, move away from the cerberus, make sure the satyrs are close together, and stone them both.
4. Now, if you have enough, use Rage of Sparta & go to town on the cerberus!

I just finished this part today, and it took me several dozen times to do it:
1. Using the Nemesis Whip, hold L1 & tap Square to hit the Cerberus. This will keep you in the air a few seconds & away from the exploding dogs. Try to dodge him as best you can, then chop off its head.

You can tell from the Cerberus' behavior...saw it every once in a while standing idle, you wouldnt get that opportunity in Chaos mode, the same applies for Satyrs too.

okay i figured out how to kill Cerberus the easiest way.
first,do how ever u like to rid him of his 1st head on the second head when the first satyr pops out; use the HADES CLAWS to summon a GORGON and turn him to stone which will give u enough time to quickly kill him, then take out the next head. On the final head with the two satyrs, use it on 1 satyr and kill him(u can only use2x). take out the last Cerberus head and on the last satyr just GRAB HIM until u kill him w/ his spear in that order

Finally beat it. I used the Blades (max lvl) square x4 triangle, and dodged. Avoid the dogs (or kick them when you can). After the first head did above combo a few times along with Army of Sparta when needed (when both were close). Used Sword of Olympus to bring down the Cerberus enough to pull 2nd head off, then original combo, AoS a few times then killed Cerberus. After that, I switched to Nemesis blades and L1 square'd them until they died (used any remaining magic also).

I've been stuck on this part for a couple hours now (Titan mode). I tried using the gorgon to turn the satyrs to stone, but you can only use it twice then you're out. I don't recommend using the blade on them either, as they block way too much, just focus on the dog. This part is a real pain.

Lol this was a pain in the ass for me on normal when i tryed first so i had to chance easy.. i got AGAIN stuck on this on titan mode but i came up with a stragety. Use nemean lion and spam light attack until youve ripped the 2rd head then just use rage ability and just kill the fucking cerberus and well the end is easy

@RydarGames God Mode can be hard too. Like this cerberus fight or the chimera fight, where 2 of them spawn at the same time. Or that one fight where all the huge ass thingies with their morning star spawn. and there's like 4 or 5 of them at the same time.
I wouldn't say it's "Normal" for a Hack'n'Slay beginner. So yeah, God Mode is kicking ass too.

And on all GoW's b4 this i changed to easy mode in the last stages... and i'm not doing it on the finale of this great franchise, time to kill the boss.

His method is sound but there are some easier ways out there on youtube that show a better way on TITAN mode.
One way is using your bow on the first 2 dogs that come out and then kick the 3rd and then use your gorgon magic after your rip off the first head to get rid of the satyr so the second part is easier, then magic and rage of sparta till the cerberus is done. Once you're down to the satyrs it gets easier because you can just counter-block-counter etc...

Not chaos/titan mode. Only semi-way possible way to defeat this boss is to use the gorgon serpent soul summon on the satyrs and shatter them as fast as possible, and just evade the dog and pound it with cestus.

One easy way to beat this beast in titan mode is to use the nemean cestus until you rip off his first head, then spam the blade of exile magic until you rip off his second head, and do so while those goatmen are near you to get rid of them at the same time. Then finally, use blade of olympus until you can rip off his last head. the leftover goatmen should be easy to get rid of because all you need is grab them.

Finally Passed the Level. What i did was use the Cestus and beat the shit out of the cerberus. When the First Goat thing came out i freezed it but i missed!!!. But no worries!! i pressed O on the Goat 3 times and i killed it
then i hit the cerberus again and ripped his head off. after that i freezed the goat and pressed o on the last one. then i finnaly PWND the Cerberus with the Blade of Olympus

Nothing anyone told me worked cause my claws of hades werent level 4 and I didnt have rage of olympus. So heres that I did, I FOCUSED PURELY ON KICKING THE SMALL DOGS! Then whenever the satyrs came close, I would whip out my apollo bow and shoot at him and he WILL run like the pussy he is and continue to kick a small dog at the Satyrs and the cerberus. Then once it came to the last head I used all my magic and then cerberus died, got more health...then kicked the last satyrs ass! FUCK YEAH!!!!
