  • Thanks for the detailed info bro.

  • @FreakishPower No prob, cheers

  • This is what I was hoping for, dark, beautifully intense and powerful. Music like this is what we need. I hate all this mainstream bullshit on TV and radio. Godflesh are seriouly one of the best and important bands of all time.

  • @warwick2155 ADSOFUCKINLUTELY!!!

  • @warwick2155 Brother ..you speak the truth

  • Too bad Oomph! and Pitchshifter went highly commercial by their dramatic change of their original style after signing with major record companies.Sad because at least one of them came up with some amazing potential.By the way coming to think of it Godflesh kinda sounds like early Swans in some patherns

  • "Fall Of Because" actually origionated from Aliester Crowley's Book Of The Law

  • I love most of Justin Broadricks bands and work but damn was Fall of Because just a disgusting mess. not even in a good way

  • @gex581990

"I love most of Justin Broadricks bands"

    Except his best, apparently.

  • Sweet! Thx for posting: I've been wanting to listen to the band that eventually evolved into Godflesh for a while now...

  • HI. What is in the album art? chernobyl photo?

  • @Fhioel not too sure about this, but it's a picture of somewhere in Birmingham

  • fuck you

  • @thundertower

having menstruations and running out of tampons, eh?

  • @malewhoreslag

    Dick.

    Women are people too.

  • wow! I love this song!

  • grandiosi !

    great !

  • It's nice to hear what spawned the album version. I dig the real drums on this one.

  • Tangerine Dream Industrial in what way???

  • what is that sample they use in Devastator?

  • wish I knew! sounds like something off a riot, some movie probably.

  • does it say on the official site? I know there is a FAQ section which mentions which samples and artwork they use on albums

  • also check out head of david, and final. two other early justin-related projects.

  • Cable Regime are good too (feat. P.Neville)

  • already with you man. :D

  • Godflesh is my all time favorite followed by Killing Joke and Swans funny how they all are connected, lol. And as for early Sonic Youth confusion is sex is the greatest album they done

  • Thanks for posting

    lovin it

  • KMFDM started off as true industrial, but switched their style to more of an industrial rock/metal style in later years.

  • I didn't say Ministry was true industrial. The dude below said something about true industrial metal pisses over Ministry. TG or SPK isn't industrial metal anyway. Try Tangerine Dream about 20 years earlier.

  • The mind is a terrible thing to taste and the land of rape and honey are good competition. Ministry started the whole cyborg metal trend.

  • I'm sorry but ministry are quite terrible, and not authentic Industrial music - This is,it could well have been done by TG or Spk (you are probably thinking "who are they?") 5 years earlier.

  • .......And what about KMFDM???

  • This is da true industrial metal shit! Pisses over pitch shifter, ministry and all da other lame-ass wannabes! DEATH TO FALSE METAL!

  • very , very true

  • thank you so much for this. I love early Godflesh so I'll be checking out this album.

  • hmm, sounds more authentically industrial than the Godflesh version. Gee, I can't beleive J.k.Broadrick was only 17 when this was recorded.

  • Check out Pitchshifters debut called Industrial...In my opinion I think the Swans were a little slower than Godflesh...but you are on the right track.

  • you're right early Pitchshifter sounds a bit like Godflesh, but they later went commercial. as for industrial in general...tried Bile, Ministry, Peace love & pibulls, Oomph!...none of em does anything for me.

  • ...and you should listen to early 'Sonic youth' and REAL Industrial music from late 70's like 'Throbbing gristle' and 'SPK'

  • Throbbing Gristle are a bit too repetitive for my taste, have yet to try SPK though.

  • great ;)

  • all I know is they are a pioneering post punk act, definitely need to give them a listen. is there any album I should check in particular?

  • This video SUCKS!

  • then why bother comment it, scumbag.
