i have a small problem. i used the chroma keyer on a character with a blueish armor, and it turns the character a dark purple when i try to get rid of the green background. any thoughts?

@zubs3ro choose a color to key out that wont conflict with what your character is wearing

I have an issue, when I put figure in it doesnt over lap the backround, and it's got a useless line below it constantly that I cant delete. Any Explainations? Im using Sony Vegas Pro 10

@Leon80111 could be because your not using the correct character layers put the clip of your character above the clip of your backround

When i record with camstudio it is an AVI file and when i try to drag the avi file from my videos to Sony vegas it dosent give me the option to drop it, suggestions?

@JkAllDayHills most of the files types that are created through other programs are compatable with sony vegas 8 .avi is one of the files u can actually render to through sony vegas so I dont see why it wouldnt work are you using the full version of vegas or the trial

@binty47, im using Vegas pro 9.0 (64-bit) Trial

i found out how to get around this problem by converting the avi files to mp4 files but the quality is a little worse and they take up alot of space. ALSO fraps dosent work for me, when i assign a hotkey for recording then press that key to start recording i get a "windows has stopped woking" message and it closes fraps

....i always have technical trouble with everything i try

I have a problem that i really!! NEED HELP WITH ok so ive followed your instructions but when i drag my fooltage to a video bar it just comes out green background in the video but the characters not in the picture i have changed the background couler in wow model viewer but still comes out green with sony vegas pls pls help

im playing around with it and i am figuring another way around it ...the problem was that i use wegame to film my vids but my sony vegas dosent seem to like the video file so i used fraps and now it works its just i have to flick beetween fraps and wegame to take my screenshots
