The funny thing is that Franco spent most of this movie out-acting Maguire, including this scene. Goes from regretful friend coming clean to "so good" in about ten seconds.
Spider-Man 3 is so underrated. Was it as good as Spider-Man 2? Of course not. Was it as bad as certain fanboys pretend it to be? Hell no. It's an overcrowded but worthy film that delivers fun and texture.
I love this film. Critics said horrible things about this film but I don't care. They criticized Mad Max 3, Rambo 3, Alien 3, Jurassic Park 3, X-Men 3, Mission Impossible 3, Resident Evil 3 but I loved all these films. The same with Spider-Man 3. Yes, it was weaker than previous two films but the storyline was interesting. Peter has 3 strong rivals including his darker side. Visual effects & fight scenes were impressive. Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst & James Franco were awesome

Man that movie was awful but I laughed so so so so very very hard at this part. I thought I was the only one. From then on whenever we wanted to say "So good" we said "Pie" instead. One of my friends went to a funeral later that week and the preacher said "God is so good" and he had to stop himself from laughing as he thought God is Pie.
this movie is so fucking bad and a disgrace to spiderman, but so unintentionally hilarious.
